This is definitely NOT the best place to go when you visit Northamptonshire for the first time, my top recommendations would probably be Althorp House and The Derngate Theatre.I think it's fair to say that llamas are not the most empathic or affectionate of creatures, and effectively here you are paying just under one hundred pounds to walk somebody else's llamas around muddy farmer's fields for two hours.Nothing is included, so if you have a fetish about llamas and are happy to pay good money to exercise somebody else's llamas then please make sure that you take your own refreshments and/or provisions. Also make sure that you are well wrapped up, you never know what the British weather will chuck at you.I can see how this is a great source of revenue for the farmer and might be of interest for kids or llama lovers, but for most of the population my advice would be not to bother. We certainly wouldn't do it again.

Booked for my daughters 8th B'day - Perfect day! Great communication via email, easy to find, brilliant introduction to llama's by Sarah who was fantastic with the children, patient, fun, explained clearly. Then we were off! beautiful setting, very relaxed, weather was AMAZING! Then back to the hut for us to do our own ting with food - which was nice to be able to do. Great setting, facilities and little shop. Thank you! Had a brilliant afternoon!

We went on the llama walk for my friends hen do, we all loved the experience. It was great to learn about the llamas from Mary and Sarah who were so knowledgeable. We had the perfect weather and sat out with our picnic, a really wonderful day and I would recommend this to anyone.

We had a voucher as a Christmas present. My husband and I took my daughter and her friend. We had a lovely time leading Indigo and Ollie along the farm tracks. They are such cute animals and are very gentle. Sarah gave us an informative introduction about llamas, and also about Catanger Farm. The sun shone, and even though there had been heavy rain the day before, a great time was had by all. It would be worth taking a picnic if the weather is good as there are picnic tables and benches alongside the llama field. Would thoroughly recommend.

What a fantastic opportunity to actually get up close and spend quality time with a Llama. We recieved a warm welcome and was very impressed with the facilities. Big thanks to Sarah who's knowledge and passion for Llamas gave us a really good insight into the way they live day to day. We would highly recommend a visit to Catanger Llamas, all ages will enjoy this, very good value for money.

My fiancé surprised me with llama trekking on valentines day and we had a lovely time, it was very interesting Sarah's knowledge was great and I got to trek Tiny Ted their alpaca who was a real cutie. It was fun and something different to do, we will definitely be going back! After out trek we had a picnic we bought ourselves but Sarah went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and to check that everything was ok. Lovely girl.I was also thinking for the new Llama born with the letter C the name should be Circus :-)

Booked the half day trek for my wife's birthday and were paired up with Grappa and Barnaby. Had a great time, lovely animals, full of personality and well behaved. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.Highly recommended.

Our walk was booked as part of my husband's 80th birthday celebrations as we had heard from friends and family who had trekked elsewhere in the UK that we would be sure to enjoy the experience. The occasion was Spinach's 20th birthday which seemed appropriate for us. My husband walked with Spinach, who is the most beautiful llama, and I walked with Indigo who wanted to be out front which he made quite clear. However he, too, is a gentle llama and a joy to walk with. We so enjoyed the whole experience and couldn't stop talking about it. Sarah made it all very easy to book, all the team made us most welcome, and it was great to see the whole herd and learn more about the llamas. We were very lucky with the weather for January - a cold, bright day - which was a bonus. We definitely want to return to Catanger Llamas for another walk later in the year and see the llamas and Sarah, Mary and David again. Thank you for a very lovely afternoon.Maureen

My sister bought me this experience as a birthday present and I really wasn't sure what to expect, but my boyfriend and I had an amazing afternoon, trekking with Nappa and Fudge - and also Grappa and Barnaby, who were with the other couple in our small group. We did the half day trek with Mary, who was happy to answer all of our questions about llamas and llama farming. The trek was preceded by a quick talk from Sarah (which was perfect, enough information to be interesting, but not so much that you couldn't take it all in), who also gave us our llama handling instructions. The llamas were such fun and so engaging - and Nappa loved being stroked! I was sorry to watch him trot back out to the field at the end of the afternoon. Oh, and look out for Tiny Ted - he's a poppet. Highly recommended for all ages.

I booked a hours trekk on the farm for me and my boyfriend for his birthday and planned it all with Sarah. Booking was so easy and fast with all questions I had answered. On the day the farm was extremely easy to find and we were greeted warmly and taken to learn about the llamas. After meeting the llamas we went on a lovely long walk in a small group and Even though it was muddy it was brilliant! as day to remember! Will be coming back in the spring.
