We found the Owl sanctuary by accident and fell in love with it. The owls are amazing and the people who care for them are very knowledgeable. A good day out

Fantastic day out to the Birds of Prey Owl Encounter. The guys clearly know what they are talking about and love what they do. We were always doing something , some of these places you can stand about for a long time , but here we weren't. The animals are obviously happy and extremely well looked after. I'd definetly go there again.

Really enjoyable day (07/03/15) at Walworth Castle Birds of Prey, David and Tori have great knowledge of Falconry. Both the Hawk Walk and The Owl Encounter experiences are excellent and it's great getting up close to birds of prey. I would also recommend the carvey at Walwoth Castle!

David and Tori are extremely informative and funny. They make you feel very welcome and ensure everyone who wants to gets owls fly to them. They are particularly good with children ensuring they get plenty of involvement. Having an owl land and sit on your hand is quite something. The owls are all beautiful and very different personalities and each has its own engaging story. Ted is a very big owl and is amazingly beautiful, especially in flight and when he sits right next to you only a couple of inches away. A great experience for adults and children alike. I would recommend this to everyone, even if you don't think you are interested in owls. You'll come away not just having had a really good time but knowing a lot of really interesting facts about owls. An experience you'll always remember.

After really enjoying a falconry afternoon at WCBOP with my wife I decided to book the hunting day with my brother in law. What an amazing experience! Watching the birds, dogs and ferrets working together was brilliant and such a buzz. After hearing our stories from the day my father in law was sorry to have missed it so we have decided to book up again to take him to experience it for himself. Thanks again Tori and David .

Quite simply the nicest people you will meet, not just a business to them but a lifestyle where they give 100% passion and commitment. My wife and I both booked the falconry experience and from start to finish we were entertained and looked after, Tori even loaned the Wife some warm clothing. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking for something different to do, I guarantee you will be entertained and educated. Thank you and see you again soon.

Me and my girlfriend visited The Birds of Prey Centre on the 7th February to go on a private Hawk Walk. I have to say this was one of the most enjoyable and interesting things I have ever done. David the poor lad was on his own as Tori his wife was away showing birds in Darlington but he did an amazing job of keeping us entertained and informed on what we were doing and going to do throughout the visit, we even got a free cup of tea :). We were shown how he weighs his birds and what all the equipment is used for, he showed us what they eat but I would advise if your squeamish prepare yourself as we were shown dead chicks, rabbits etc. We then gloved up and went on our walk in the woods with the a Harris Hawk. Everybody has the opportunity to handle the bird and all through the walk David is telling us about the birds and the centre. We got back and were walked around all the other birds with a talk about each one, you even get to stroke some of them :) To finish the day and not actually part of the walk we were allowed to see him flying a Peregrine Falcon, what an amazing bird. An amazing place, well run and you can really see David cared about his birds and loves his job. I would recommend it 100%. Thank you David and Tori.
