I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this museum. Whilst there has been some recent investment, there is still a lot of work required to bring the exhibition space up to standard.

We visited to see the Harry Papadopoulos photography exhibition. This was reasonably well set out and much as we expected. The rest of the museum seemed to be in need of TLC and £ but there were a few gems. I particularly enjoyed the WW1 and WW2 exhibits, including telegrams (apparently) bearing Adolf Hitler's signature. Certainly worth an occasional visit.

A small museum but seems to host various specialised exhibits which keeps things interesting. A tour of The Coats Observatory can also be taken during your visit. We enjoyed both and have visited twice so far. I am sure we will check it out again on our next trip

We've been here a few times recently and the staff are really welcoming and remember us each time. Its not massive but there are a few wee bits to see and its welcoming for kids. Considering how little else there is in Paisley it is worth a look.

I am really saddened to write this. Visited today to plan a trip and was dumbfounded on how I could make the trip interesting. Not what I remembered from another visit a couple of years ago.New gallery is lovely however a little sparse. Where are the Victorian dresses? The exhibits of what life was like through the ages. Childhood through the ages too. The Shawl Exhibition needs a new lease of life.I used to be proud of the Gem we had as a museum it would give Glasgow a run for its money however it looks I need to go further afield for my trip.

Started off very well with a stunning airport and a fairly impressive international space station but went downhill from there. I counted around a dozen other exhibits, mostly average to be honest. Spent £12 on a family ticket and was done in around 20 minutes. The rest of the museum is ok, if a bit sparse, the observatory was closed down so all in all, dissapointing.

Took family from down South who thought it was great. I then took the grandchildren to see the Lego exhibition which was out of this world. The children then went round the museum itself and were fascinated by the exhibitions and stories of their home town

Went there to see the history of the Paisley pattern textiles. Really nice staff there who are very knowledgeable and friendly. Lovely place for an afternoon visit

I visited the Paisley Museum and Art Galleries and was very disappointed in the content ..... I had visited the Paisley Abbey and was very impressed but this Museum is a huge disappointment as there is very little content, I feel sorry for the staff as the days must be very long with very few visitors as the actual content does not merit a visit. Definitely one to give a miss ....

My 14 year old son, an avid lego fan, had looked forward to this for some time only to find nothing particularly spectacular on display. The airport scene was good but the rest was pretty underwhelming and (with the right bricks available) could probably have been constructed by my son in his bedroom. Wasnt the most expensive tickets in town but for what was on show it wasnt worth it.
