The bar and restaurant are decorated in the style of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and it is a very pleasant place to eat and drink in Johnstone, service is very good and surroundings are very clean and comfortable. I shall certainly return.

Visited Rennies on a Sunday afternoon for a family lunch. It was our first visit and we were all pleasantly surprised. There were 4 in our party and we all ordered different main courses and I must say that all were delicious. The menu is very varied and impressive, I was especially happy with the variety of desserts on offer ! I had a snowball sundae which was just lovely. I can't wait to go back!

Quality bar and little eateries.The food is excellent.Owned and run by a nice couple but beware! Drew is a megalomaniac , who runs the place for himself. Here the customer is not always right and unfortunately I have heard many stories from ex regulars who fell foul of his pedantic ways . For me, I stopped going and haven't been back in a while. You will find this place is a class above the rest Johnstone has to offer but alas no longer for me.Pity I loved the place.

been here a few times , only for drinks , its nice clean ,nice decor , and great staff . always been busy , and have heard the food is really good .
