Rozelle park is superbly maintained and the monkey puzzle trees have to be some of the best in Scotland- nice but small cafe and shop is worth dropping in to to support the local artists

Has regular art exhibitions by local artists and occasionally by better known artists. Sculptures can also be included in exhibitions. Coffee shop very nice and food good. Staff very pleasant and service good. There is also an area given to crafts such as jewellery, pottery etc. The park itself is very pleasant to walk through.

Nice big park but if the flower show hadn't been on there was nothing else there. If you like long walks good place to go and very quiet, need a car to get there or it is a long walk from the town.

Rozelle Park is one of a number of very good parks in Ayrshire that provide great outdoor space to enjoy the fresh air.Located in the beautiful Alloway area, Rozelle Park offers large areas of open grass to enjoy, as well as a good track that roughly follows the boundary of the park, including taking in the (unfortunately) railed off duck pond. After a good walk, there is a cafe to visit that provides decent hot and cold food as well as a range of hot and cold drinks, the extravagant hot chocolate with cream being one of our favourites! The daily soups are usually very good. During busy weekends it can be a bit hit and miss whether you will get a table at first, but coming back after a quick walk usually sees a table or two free up. There is also seating outside, nice on warmer days and an option during colder times if you don't mind sitting outside.Overall, Rozelle Park is a good, nice park to visit for a gentle walk and bite to eat or drink without being too strenuous, and has lots of open space to enjoy.

The park itself is good for a brisk walk (lots of dog walkers if you need to know) and there are some ducks to throw bread at. The feature piece of the park is the Rozelle House which contains a selection of artworks, although it is quiet at thi time of year. The cafe in the basement is cosy and has the usual selection of hot drinks and cakes (coffee can be taken away); but can close/wind down up to an hour before the house does. The Maclaurin Galleries are the best feature at the right time of year with exhibitions and local art group presentations.

Went here for a coffee and cake which was delicious. The shabby chic tearoom is quaint and leads out to the gardens where there are tables if we are fortunate to have good weather. The prices are pretty average for what you get but the service is efficient and friendly and all the food we saw seemed to look very tasty. You can wander through the gardens, browse in the little shop and pass some time looking at the many different exhibitions which change fairly regularly. The guides/staff are all so friendly and informative and the added bonus is that the grounds and exhibits are all free! Certainly worth a visit.

A well maintained park with ample space for events such as the Ayr Flower Show which needs large areas for parking and benefits from the many mature trees that are located on the lawns. The pavilions and stalls are set off well in these surroundings and the gallery and cafe do very well.Rozelle is a dog walkers paradise and the proximity of Alloway means that Robert Burn's admirers can visit here as well. No stations nearby however a regular bus service passes the main entrance.

We went for lunch at Rozelle park tea room and had a lovely lunch outside. Kids were playing on the grass which was adjacent to it. We then had a nice walk around the pond. Not a lot of attractions, but good for a little walk in a peaceful environment!
