I have been visiting this place for years, it's a fantastic place for views all year round. You can enjoy refreshments at the cafe which provides lovely fast food and drinks at reasonable prices.

Used to live in Caerphilly and often took the boys for a walk and a walk through the woods especially when the bluebells were out.Great Views and can be busy with cars but I truly miss coming here. Café selling tea and fast foodWell worth a visit as easy to reach from Cardiff and then perhaps go down the hill to visit Caerphilly Castle.

A short stroll affords a great view of the coast near Cardiff and hills inland. Go, park and feast your eyes.

you visit and see lots of people sitting in their cars eating burgers and unhealthy food. Would be an ideal location for healthy eco tourism but it is like going back to 1980 when it might have been ok to eat rubbish. An opportunity missed.

You first have to reach the summit of Caerphilly Mountain - as a kid I used to bike it quite oftenfrom Cardiff where I lived with my parents. These days I make a point of driving there with familyfor a wide range of snacks in fantastic country surroundings atop a mountain. The venue's been substantially re-built over the years and is now a substantial permanentbuilding, complete with toilets at the back and a pleasant, rural outdoor seating area at thefront. The food is basic but top-notch, and very reasonably priced.

Took our daughter and her children to visit the eatery we used many years ago, it has certainly changed but for the better. Everyone had a good time.

A fresh walk on a Sunday morning followed by a breakfast roll and coffee at the snack bar... Great! Only downside is dogs off leads. As I have a young child it can make me wary.

Another lovely place to visit when you are in Wales! A good dayout when the sun is out! They got a fireworks display on Bonfire Night. But mind the parking as totally packed during this event! Better yet to come early as possible!
