This is a great library with friendly helpful staff who cant do enough for you. They regularly run musical evenings for charity and these are very special.

Visit here often and it's a brilliant place to get a DVD. A book that you can definitely find easily and the computer room upstairs is fantastic. With over 40 computers you'll always be in and out in no time.The staff are great and helpful and always could hear a pin drop. :)

I overheard a library worker complaining on the phone how overworked she was but yet I, a customer, had to wait until she finished her phonecall to her friend to be served.

The selection of books is what you'd expect to find in a provincial library but the recent introduction of automated borrowing and return (very simple) makes borrowing a more pleasant experience. The computer room upstairs is very roomy and comfortable. It's the staff who make the experience more pleasurable though - always smiling and making sure you're ok. I'm here about once a month and hope to continue my visits for a long time.

Lurgan Library offers a variety of things from books, knit and knatter, bookclubs, rhythm and rhyme, local history talks, computer lessons etc

I go here with my children and if there is something in particular I am looking for the staff have no hesitation helping me find it or order it in.
