Everything here for a day out. Food good, pleasant staff. There is also a marina and plenty of wild life to see. Numerous walks around. Caravan park and plenty of free parking.

This place is in an ideal location. Views over Lough Neagh can be good in wintertime.Food is pretty average and service friendly and good.Of course there is more to this place than the restaurant.Has a sort of 'government feel' about it all.

Love visiting here to escape the city life. Very easy drive from the heart of Belfast. Grounds are very well laid out and paths are very accessible. There is an abundance of free parking and enough to keep you busy for a whole day! Hides are well maintained and give you an opportunity to observe wildlife without interfering.Centre itself does not really compare to the grounds. Gifts hop staff can be very loud and abrupt, and cafe was very unhelpful when we inquired about soy milk. Has a greasy spoon feel to it, but would be good for a quick visit after a long walk.Definitely would recommend bringing a flask and sandwich to enjoy outside though, a real gem 30 minutes from the heart of Belfast

What a totally Brillant place to visit. See all the seasons, a wonderful marina, caravan park area is improving and the toilet block and children's play area us excellent. Excellent cafe serving lunch at The discovery centre, food home made and affordable, great for families. Worth while checking out Sunday walk and roast option.

Called into have a cup of coffee and something to eat. very disappointed in their range of food available. Looked dried up and a very small range to choose from. The lady couldn't get the coffee machine to work so offered filter coffee straight to the cup with milk which my friend said tasted awful. I'm glad I had a bottle of water! The place/tables/chairs also felt grubby and sticky. Will not be back for anything to eat - but outside has beautiful views of Lough Neagh and nice walks. Advice: bring your own picnic..tastier and cheaper!

An excellent place to bring the family. Walks feeding the ducks and swans. In the centre one can go from snacks, lunch, dinner, tea/coffee. Staff friendly and helpful.Free play area for the children and plenty of space for one to have a BBQ.It is not too often you come across a place and this where you don't have to pay to gain entrance.I am a regular visitor to it and enjoy.

This visitors centre is one of Co armaghs best kept secrets - there are loads of things to do with the kids - which is totally FREE! Walks - real - live wildlife to watch and feed and a lovely well stocked cafe with loads of nice things to reqrad yourself with after a long walk.A small - really nicely stocked visitors shop and clean toilets - a must when you have kids with you! There are play areas and a small shallow paddling pool for the kids - areas in have a BBQ and loads of space for a game of football.I really dont know why the locals dont make better use of these facilities.

Visited here on the way back to the airport. Plenty of parking spaces, Play area for kids if you have them. Only went in to Centre for the cafe, which was good value and good quality.Be aware that the centre closes at 5pm and I was directed to the nearest toilets which looked like they had been closed for 10 years. The nearest other facilities are further back down the road at the Marina.Nice place for walks which unfortunately was cut short due to an abundance of midges!

We had a nice day, so three of us cycled out to the Discovery Centre. We got a coffee each and a bun and seated ourselves outside. Very pleasant setting to have coffee and great scenery.I am only remarking on the Café here, as we didn't stay long.
