Heureka, the Finnish Science centre offers interesting program and exhibitions for anyone interested in science and is educating fun for children as well as adults.

This museum is worth a visit, although it is a bit far away from the city center there are transportations to the museum. It is amazing and extreamly good for children. Worth it!

There are plenty of experiment stations in Heureka. If you come with children you should definitely book a whole day for the visit. You can easily come there by train from city center (single train ticket 5 e/adult).

My 4- and 6-year-old boys were in awe of all the attractions although everything had to be explained. The explanations are at least in Finnish, Swedish and English there.I recommend!

The place is quite small, so if you have visited Heureka before you propably find yourself bored after 45 minutes.You can reach the place by train or car easily, it's located just few hundred meters from Tikkurila train station.

Heureka is very easy to get to from anywhere by the train.We felt like the newest exhibitions they had were more aimed for kids. As adults we didn't find most of the things that suitable for us.We have visited Heureka several times before and we enjoyed those exhibitions a lot more. The rat basketball is always the highlight of our visit! The planetarium is also very good and worth the money.

We went here back at Easter and spent some time , but didn't see everything so we went back now in the summer intending to spend just an hour or two there. In fact we were there all day as there were lots of new things to do and see as well as repeating some of what we'd done before. My son, who is 13, loves it here and we will be back.

Heureka science centre is easy to reach by train from Helsinki (nearest station: Tikkurila plus 5 minute signposted walk) and well worth the trip. The entrance fee is quite pricey so you may want to stay the day to make it worth your while. Plenty to see and do, decent cafeteria and yummy ice cream on offer! Children will love it as everything is geared to be touched and played with and for us adults, providing you have the gift of concentration, you'll be amazed at some of the things you can learn.The rat basketball game was fun to watch and we enjoyed the film "To space and back" at the planetarium. Another plus on a super hot day (outside temperature of 30 degrees+) was the air conditioning... Bliss!!!

From a child's point of view, this attraction is probably worth five stars. However, as an adult I couldn't help but think that there wasn't enough to do and see in four exhibition halls. Wandering around the main area (not including planerarium or other extra activities) took only two hours and we felt little bit like "is that all?"Children younger than 7 years old will surely enjoy the exhibition, but older kids probably could get more out of it. For teenagers "the Heureka classics" might be boring but, on the other hand, the changing exhibitions might interest different kind of people from all age groups. For example, "Heureka goes crazy" exhibition about mental health etc. is interesting for older visitors, for small kids it might be too scary ("phobia room" etc).Didn't have lunch there, but think it's quite expensive. The souverir shop is filled with so much fun stuff, serious and less serious, how about a do-it-yourself slime kit? Cool!

Excellent place for education, entertaiment and see science more attractive and more close to people. Nice high tech scienece expo with look like real dinosorus and other things connected to science, evolution, history and possible future. Like this place very much, no dislakes.
