Good place for city view, to see inside castle and to do some sports if you go to the hill by foot :)

After a short walk you will see a beautiful view on the city, You can also visit a tower with a small exhibition. for those who do not want to walk there is also a lift to get on the castle hill.

We were there in winter, it was cold and windy, but we've never regretted a moment. Grab your camera and take the cable car uphill if you're not too much of a sportsman. We took it both ways, but only because it was freezing, otherwise, it'd be a wonderful walk.

The view worth to climb up, but it was quite freezing in winter because of wind. The ruin is interesting. There is a tiny exhibition about army and Lithuania independent activity, costing 2 euro.

The view from the top is well worth the walk:) The area is very nice and interresting and a great place for pictures. You should also visit the tower to get an even better view of beautiful Vilnius!

Walk up to the top of the hill, or take the transparent lift - it will be a wonderful experience. From the top of the Castle Hill one can understand the structure of the town from there and see most of its neighbourhoods and historical buildings.

Nice to be their by teleferic, thats it.. The view is wide . Otherwise nothing additional to see. The historical 2 buildings are without life. Maybe missing small pub or any, to have some animation...even no explanations tablette or an orientation table to locate all monuments seen from the view. As poor as all the vilnius town.

Great walk up the "hill" to witness a stunning view of the beautiful city of Vilnius. Across from the hill you can see the three crosses, they almost beckon to you asking you to come visit them from the vantage point. The walk up the hill is the easy part. Walking down is a different story, mind your footing ;)

It is best to use the small railway to go up in and then walk the back route down to the cathedral. If you go up the tower the sights are great and well worth the small added cost.
