A walk up onto the dunes is a must in Nida and I suggest walking into the woods towards the Russian border is a must as well. You may get lucky and see wild boar and moose (so be careful)

My wife was born and raised in Lithuania and she always raves about Nida. In fact, this is where she'd like to have some of her ashes scattered. It's a very pleasant and accessible park in western Lithuania. We spent an evening there most recently, enjoying sunset, the gentle breezes and the quiet. Our kids love to run and climb and play in the sand!

Absolutely amazing dunes right across from an amazing forest. One of the most beautiful and memorable places I have visited.

If you are in Lithuania you must to see it! It is WONDERFULL!! The view from there is breathtaking! We spent there around 2 hours and we couldn't bore it! You can see Russia Kalinygrad part) and where the lagoon and the see meet with each other. We left around sunset and the sky was beautiful. It is not so much far from Nida so you can go there on foot too.
