We were here for the world juniors in 2013 and the staff were so nice and friendly and were able to answer any questions we had.

Very convenient train ride from Copenhagen airport . We choose to stay for two days here rather than Copenhagen , as we were catching the train to do "Around The Sound "the next morning . Loved Malmo ..the people are very friendly and helpful. One man translated an entire menu for us! Very pretty , clean, lots of shopping and sights . Very walkable and safe . Will return

Great Arena in Malmo! The only missing thing is a hockey team in the major league! SHL! Nice location next to a large shopping mall!

We loved the Malmo Arena. Very modern, great view of the ice no matter where you sit, and lovely facilities. I would have loved to have drank my beer at my seat during the hockey games, however I understand this is not customary in Sweden. Too bad.

A very modern arena in a newly constructed area just outside Malmö city, beside the train station Malmö-Copenhagen.Just too bad the restaurant is not keeping the same quality with poor and rude service and prices far over the ones you find in tne city center. My friend refused to pay 8 euro for a 25cl beer in the restaurant bar (Before he drank the beer but it was opened by the waiter) during dinner, then the waiter said "if you do not pay I will call the security". That is not the way you treat guests dining for 80 euro. Conclusion, dine in the city and visit the Malmö Arena only for concerts.

Fantastic arena! We went to see an ice hockey game here - highly recommend it especially if you haven't been to a game before. Great view even from the cheap seats nada nice bar and choice of refreshments.

We had a blast here in the Malmo Arena in Sweden. Eurovision was awesome and one of the best iv'e seen. The arena was very well organised and everything was very smooth and very quick and it was easy to find your way around and staff were very helpful also. What can I say it was euphoria. And all those intense feelings that come with it LOL!

I think the Malmo Arena was the best ESC venue ever. Perfect size and the staging was exactly right.

The arena is VERY easy to get to, only a few minutes by train from Malmo city centre to Hyllie station - which is brand new and aptly sized even for huge events. Outside the station is a large but cosy square, where we enjoyed a picnic before the show started, and soaked up the Eurovision atmosphere. There are also plenty of food outlets available, to suit most budgets, and with outdoor seating. The arena is next to Emporia, which is a huge shopping centre, where further food outlets and a food court are available. (As well as shopping, obviously..)Once inside the arena, we were fairly disappointed though, as the queues for the refreshment outlets were very long, with no one monitoring them (or telling people where to go). The drinks were also expensive, and really irrationally priced. What particularly annoyed me was that you bought e.g. sparkling water in a plastic bottle (0.5l) but as plastic bottles weren't allowed INTO the actual arena, a staff member was designated to pour this out into a plastic cup for you! What a complete waste of plastic bottles (they had loads of bin bags just full of bottles!) and staff time!!!The toilets were also undersized for the event, and poorly laid out. For Eurovision there was a make-up sponsor doing people's make up INSIDE the women's toilets, causing further queues and blocking up sink space. The actual arena itself (once past the refreshments area) was great though, and felt small and cosy even though it housed thousands of people. We could see very well from the standing area, and they hadn't overfilled it. There was also plenty of staff and security available.Overall, we had a fantastic time at Eurovision, but were disappointed with the poorly planned toilets and refreshment area, as we had to spend about half an hour queueing!
