If you are in the vicinity of Ostersund, this is a very nice stop for the whole family.Tricky to find, located on the Froson mountain, and accessed by trecking up a road on the back of the mountain, but like most Swedish attractions there are plenty of signs pointing you in the right direction.The tower itself is about 20 meters tall (approx 60 feet) and since the spot is located almost 500 meters above sea level, you have a wonderful view of the city and the mountains around.Should you be queasy about the hights, there is still a wonderful view from the foot of the tower and the surrounding area invite to a leg stretcher.Hungry? Yes, there is a restaurang with all kinds of local goodness at pretty decent price. The cost of the tower entrance will be about 2 Euro for adults and 0.5 Euro for kids.There is a elevator and the people working there are happy to practice their language skills, should you not know the native tounge.Oh, there is also a ski slope nearby...bring your equipment if you come in winter.http://goo.gl/qQdiQs
