We had stopped at the windmill attraction on Muhu and were disappointed. But not here on Saaremaa! The Angla has a collection of windmills that help understand the history of how windmills have changed. There are several that you can climb into to see the gears. There is also a collection of old farm equipment and tools that help celebrate the island's agricultural history. It was a nice stop, particularly as it was the end of the season and we were the only ones there. From the size of the parking lot, it must get pretty crowded. The other reason it was such a good stop is that the woman who took tickets had just finished baking cookies. They were delicious and the whole inside part of the museum had a most wonderful fragrance! And just down the road is he wonderful Karja Kirik and Leisi Village. Both well worth a stop.

While travelling around Estonia we came to Saaremaa and there visited this curious nice Windmill park. Nice place, not big, but interesting, with several windmills of 2 types, at least 1 is still working and you can order to produce the meal. One can come inside EVERY mill and check its constuction and history. Everything is followed by facts and old photos. And we liked it. Also there is small farm yard with several creatures, small "museum" of old farm machinery. Car parking also exists. Price for visit is small.There was also a restaurant (we not visited it), where you can find also WC. Quite vital taking into consideration that you are somewhere in the middle of Saaremaa surrounded by forrests and villages. It is interesting place for adults and especially children. Recommend everyone to spent some time to visit this place!

Интересная экскурсия, есть возможность под руководством различных мастеров поработать в рабочих комнатах - в глиняной мастерской, в мастерской по выделке шерсти, в войлочной мастерской. Можно также попробовать испечь домашний хлеб.

5基の風車のある公園。オランダのものに比べると小ぶり。1基は中の構造を見学できる。よほどの風車好きでなければ、わざわざ行くほどのこともないと思う。
