Even though the building has lots of artwork by Ilon Wiklund, who has illustrated most Astrid Lindgren's children's books, the best parts of the place for a family with kids are the third floor and the back yard/garden. The yard has a wood workshop as well as a craft workshop with instruction, plus activities and games, all included in the very reasonable admission price. We spent a nice couple of hours here with my 7 yr old daughter. Would definitely recommend it!

Если вы хотите посмотреть как жил Карлсон и вспомнить приключения Пеппи Длинный Чулок - Вам сюда! Небольшой трехэтажный домик в центре Хаапсалу отдан прекрасной эстонской художнице Ilon Wikland для экспозиции ее прекрасных работ, иллюстрирующих книги Астрид Линдгрен. На первом этаже - экспозиция картин, на втором - небольшой зал, где можно посмотреть оч интересный фильм о жизни Илон (и хотя я не оч хотела его смотреть и согласилась лишь по настоянию работника музея - час пролетел на одном дыхании - так было интересно), а на третьем этаже потрясающая игровая комната для детей и комната Карлсона. Приходите - не пожалеете!!
