Very interesting. Lot of work has gone into the displays. Not all the signage was clear and had to use guess work to check if doors were meant to be open. From the final display a sing to the exit would be helpful.

Really good little museum. Displays very informative, without having to read loads of information. Staff friendly and helpful.

A great exhibition and a good layout. Space a bit cramped overall but the staff and officials trying to deal with that. Overall, a great experience! Thank you!

The County Museum has acquired many interesting artefacts from Castle Leslie (until mid 2014). The exhibition tells the story of the family and the estate. It includes home movies made by the family from the 1940s (including Mick Jagger's visit in 1968). Also featured are documents related to Sir Jack's wartime experience as a POW; and the family's connection to Winston Churchill. Well worth a look.
