Lublin Museum is a medium-size museum located in Lublin Castle. It's most spectacular feature is the castle chapel, the Church of the Holy Trinity, which has wonderful medieval frescos. The museum itself has a large collection of folk arts and costumes, folk paintings, and modern and old Polish paintings. A major item is a huge painting of the creation of the Polish and Lithuanian union. A good place to spend several hours enjoying Polish culture and arts.

From the first sight, it is just another museum but it is worth exploring. Lublin Castle is home to the museum - the building itself is beautiful, including the unique chapel. Though the chapel is the most interesting, the museum is worth checking out too. The best thing is that admission is free on Saturday but it's better to make a booking in advance to see the chapel.

Small-ish museum of paintings and artifacts from Lublin's history. The main attraction is the unusual chapel at the far end with it's mix of european and eastern styles and paintings - this is worth seeing but a little busy. The castle itself is worth walking around and seeing the signs, in particular for the more recent, unhappy, history with Nazi and USSR secret police.

An amazing building on a breathtaking scale, overlooking what was once the Jewish quarter ( now completely erased by the Nazis). The Museum is vast, dominated by a huge medieval tower, with brilliant views. This museum is very atmospheric- it was the building used as a prison by the Nazis in WW2. It is reached by a great causeway leading from the lower gate of the Stare Miasto. One word of warning - it is closed on Mondays.

It's better than nothing, since there's not that much to see in this area. However it's quite an impressive place, I do recommend to visit it!

The museum, as memory serves was fince but the real gem here is the Royal Chapel, which I truly believe is one of the hidden gems of Poland.

Visited on a cold winters day in December 2009. We went in to warm up a bit but were pleasantly surprised by the museum. Worth a visit to see some history.

Some parts were closed - seems a standard part of Polish tourism. Fewer than half the museums, galleries, etc we hoped to see were actually open, in the 2nd week of May.

There was nothing we disliked about this lovely place. Good exhibition for everyone. A safe environment in which to explore some of Lublin rich history

Very charming Old City. Dates back form middle ages. Beautiful renaissance buildings, old churches. Tree very unique gates, each very different one from the other. Krakowska Gate, Trynitarska Gate and Grodzka Gate. Trynitarska Gate is has the tallest tower in town. There is golden rooster on the top instead of a cross. There is museum in the gate and you can climb stairs to access the best view in town. There is relaxed atmosphere with lots of small restaurants and old wine cellars around This Old City is a pearl not yet discovered by tourists.
