You can reach the Chapel by a trail that starts behind the Church. It takes 30 minutes to reach the Chapel. From there, you have an amazing view of the town and of the Verdon. Strongly suggested.

High above the town but worth the walk. Great views. Take some water as it's a hot climb a little steep in places but not to difficult.

Well marked pathway that leads to stunning viewpoint across the gorge. The walk took about 30 minutes to get to the top...less on the way down!

The guidebooks tell you that it will take 45 minutes to climb up to the chapel on the Roc overlooking Castellane. It might, but only if you're slow or the path is blocked by many other climbers. Allow 25-35 minutes and you'll arrive at the church on its little plateau some 185m overlooking the town. It's worth it for the view. Remember to take a camera as you can get some very nice shots of the town and the Verdon river from the top. And maybe a little picnic as there are many flat spots that can be used for eating on the plateau.

We made a trip to chapelle early morning in a sunny weather.It is a short trail not so strenuous but not so easy.The view from the chapelle down to the Castellane and to the valley of Verdon river is lovely,especially if you are here alone only with view and blue sky.If you plan visit Castellane I strongly recomended to go there.

Promenade très agréable surplombant le beau village de Castellane: qui offre une vue panoramique majestueuse.

La balade est sympa, physique même. Là-haut, on aperçoit le village de Castellane. Un passage par la chapelle et ses nombreux ex-voto et c'est la descente que l'on peut aussi varier en empruntant une variante pour rejoindre le village.

petite balade sympa pour une mise en jambes avant de faire une autre rando le lendemain ;permet aussi de terminer cette balade dans les vieilles rues de la ville

Leuke wandeling naar het kapelletje, waar je een goede uitleg krijgt en beeld over hoe belangrijk deze kapel is geweest voor de omgeving.Mooie uitzichten ove Castellane en omgeving.
