Lovely white stone facade. Interior is less impressive, but still interesting to walk through. It's particularly nice on spring and summer days when they open the massive front doors.

Square with historic buildings, restaurants, modern fountain in front, beautiful water fountain at the door. Shops in surrounding streets with local treats, nice theater with painted wall. Good parking!

Nestling in the centre of the town this picturesque cathedral is well worth a visit. The twin towers can be seen for miles and the cathedral takes up one quarter of the central square.There is nothing spectacular inside but it is still worth pausing and having a quiet walk around.

A small and peaceful cathedral undergoing some refurbishment.The cathedral itself is set in the wonderful old town with its' medieval houses and tiny streets it is a step back in time.

Magnifique cathédrale:Entièrement rénovée. Offre une fraîcheur rarement égalée pendant les journées chaudes, et un lieu de de plénitude. Le cloître est magnifique. La place piétonne est très animée en soirée , avec de nombreux bars / restaurants & un magnifique marché de produits régionaux le vendredi & samedi matin. Wonderful cathedral: offers some freshness during the hot days, and a place to reflect and to pray. The inner garden is beautiful & peaceful . The pedestrian plaza in from it is quite lively in the afternoons/evenings, with great bars & restaurants, and amazing an markets with local products on Friday & Sunday mornings.

The "cathedral St vincent" is really the symbol of Chalon sur Saone. If you enjoy to visit churches and cathedrals, don't miss it. I would recommend a sunday morning visit. The Sunday morning market is very typical of chalon sur Saone and it is on place St Vincent in front of the cathedral.

The cathedral is central to the main square, with lovely old buildings and the weekly market right outside stretching down the other streets. The outside of the Cathedral looks like it has had a recent stonework clean, and inside is just as impressive and worth a good look round.
