We were cruising around with French friends and on their advice we visited this winery. It did not disappoint. Firstly we looked at the cave houses - still inhabited by regular folks who probably don't like people gawking. We then entered the the wine caves / cellars at the bottom of the estate. At the time they were having a light show/art installation in the newest part of the caves which was stunning (probably more so as it was just the 4 of us walking through in our own time). Once in the older caves, we were surrounded by thousands of bottles of wine. We all found it fascinating and if we ever get trapped in a cave overnight, hope it will be like this. We popped out at the cellar door for some tastings. The sparkling wine tasted amazing and was exceptionally reasonably priced. Definitely come here early in your trip so you can drink a few bottles before flying home. It is so worth stopping here for tastings and the tour/walk within the caves.

This was an exciting tour of a winery. The tour guide was very interesting. The wine was delicious, too!

We found this wine cave by chance and are very pleased that we did. For €4 you get a tour of the caves, an informative guide and a huge tasting at the end. We were able to try 5 different wines and the tour was really good. Couldn't believe the value and would highly recommend.

If you don't have time to go to Epernay and visit Moët or Mercier, then this is a nice place to visit. The guided tour is quick (about 10 minutes) and our guide Max was very informative on the wine making process. Includes a single wine tasting sample at the end.

Interesting place to visit. Located just outside the town but has good parking. Had a good choice of wines, very friendly staff and helpful. Able to taste wines and reasonably priced.

nous avons eu le privilège de bénéficier d'une visite privée puisque nous étions les seuls ce jour là. Nous avons donc pu prendre le temps de discuter, de poser des questions et d'apprécier la mise en scène en lumière de la galerie.Pour la dégustation, nous avons pu goûter tout ce que nous voulions, bénéficier de nombreux conseils et sommes repartis avec quelques bouteilles en souvenir!un grand merci pour votre disponibilité!

Nous sommes venus dans le cadre d'une box. Nous avons assisté à la visite des caves Monmousseau dans un cadre plutôt sympathique. Mais nous avons surtout été bluffé par la dégustation réservée aux détenteurs de cette box. Nous avons en effet pu déguster 8 vins différents, tout cela accompagné de produits locaux (fromages de chèvre et rillettes tourangelles). La qualité et la quantité étaient remarquables.Cette box comprenait également un coffret avec deux mousseux.Nous en gardons un agréable souvenir. Demandez à déguster le mousseux rouge Monmousseau : ce fut une très agréable découverte.L'aménagement d'une salle de dégustation serait néanmoins plus approprié.Visite en couple réalisée le samedi 20 septembre 2014

Nous avons aimé découvrir les caves qui sont très belles et intéressantes a voir.Le petit plus est de goûter le bon vin fait a la fin de cette visite.Accueil chaleureux.

Visite d'une caves de vin de Touraine pétillant on apprend tout de la fabrication et le petit plus qui fait la différence dans les galeries beau spectacle coloré avec projection d'image et une petite surprise à ne pas manquer quand on passe sa tête dans le trouve de la grotte surprise...

A voir impérativement si vous passez par Montrichard.Des caves revisitées par des artistes dans une ambiance très sympathique. Bravo
