Excellent free attraction in the heart of Senlis. The Park is within the walls of the former royal castle and palace of the house of Capet who were the first royal house of France. Not much is accessible but it's a lovely place to while away a Sunday afternoon and the town is pretty unspoilt too despite being an hour from Paris by train.

we only visited senlis because our older children wanted to go to parc asterix, so we spent the day in Senlis. It is a fantastic little place, with an excellent free guide from Tourist Information. There is the Roman wall, and the medieval wall. The parc et vestiges is just part of a place which is well worth a visit for its lovely medieval streets and buildings. There is free parking and free chilled water at Tourist Information (very welcome on a hot day). When we were there it was surprisingly uncrowded.

This place is located beside the Tourism Office and across from the Cathedral. I had a lovely walk seeing what is left of the Château Royal and part of the Roman wall. The hunting museum and the Spahis museum are also here. There's no entrance fee to see the ruins of the castle and even though there's not much left of it it's part of what Senlis has to offer. Overall this is a charming city and I think is worth a visit.

Gostei de caminhar pelos jardins e finalmente chegar às ruínas do Castelo Real, onde podemos também ver um museu de caça. Bom passeio!

Il faut prendre le temps de visiter Senlis!Il y a tant à voir: Un séjour de trois jours est conseillé. Une très belle adresse pour déjeuner, dîner et dormir: L'Aunette Cottage à Chamant

Agréable promenade à travers le parc et les vestiges du château royal. Parfaitement bien entretenu! N’hésitez pas à suivre les circuits proposés par le plan offert par l’office de tourisme.

Native de Senlis et vivant maintenant en Lorraine, je ne peux qu'affirmer que je suis toujours aussi ravie d'y retourner. Ville pleine d'histoire avec beaucoup de monuments à visiter.

c'est une endroit magnifique, calme très bien entretenu et dans lequel on est sur de trouver la quiétude absolue.

Malgré des vestiges du Chateau Royal et d'un bout de mur romainil n'y a pas grand chose à voir si ce n'est au fond du parc bien calme le musée de la vénerie.
