Lovely paths to stroll along the river! Very scenic paths and nestled along 13-17th century fortifications!

Nice place to take a relaxing stroll along the water and see the paddle boats and kayakers go by. Different view of the church as well.

Why not rent a boat with your best friends and paddle around for an hour? It is fun and you have a unique view at the protestan church and the cathedrale. Most important of all, don't expect too much, it is only fun if you and your friends are in a good mood if not, all this might be nothing special at all. Only problem, you need to pay 22€ for 3 poeple / hour..which is a lot -but still, it is fun!

We took the boat trip for 45 minutes and were disappointed at the thick vegetation with little to see. We are spoiled by the Rhine River in Germany! The last 15 minutes when the boat entered the water near the Moyen Pont was more interesting with the swans, kayakers, and the Temple Neuf. Not woth the 45 minutes.

Typical access to a city these days is by road. As you enter by train, the face of the place changes. Even more so if you arrive by boat! In France you can rent a boat without a permit or license. The rates depend on your need of space and comfort. Traveling on the Moselle River and the canals is fun and highly relaxing. The city of Metz has a lovely port which puts you within walking distance of the old town.

When I asked the lady in the Tourist Office to advise me which bus I need to take to see the "proper" Moselle, she assured me this was it. It clearly isn't.

Канал реки Мозель - это хорошее место для неспешных прогулок. Если вы устанете , то можно остановиться в одном из кафе и выпить чашечку кофе или бокал вина. Особенно красиво канал смотрится ночью.

A faire des qu'il y a un rayon de soleil !!! Super balade le long de la Moselle , on peut louer des pédalos et découvrir Metz autrement .On adore cet endroit

Local lindo para passear o final da tarde. O rio Moselle tem patos, gansos, cisnes que deixam a paisagem ainda mais charmosas.

прекрасное место для прогулок. Здесь, на набережной реки, есть магазины и рестораны, а можно просто полюбоваться на красивые дома, построенные вдоль реки.
