We desperately wanted to visit this church but it was closed and no signage to indicate opening hours. Best check with tourist information beforehand. Lovely to look at from the outside too however and in a nice location by the river. Info boards outside tell the story of the building.

Amazing to realize what has gone through these walls! Accessible and a cool place to enjoy on a hot day!

Actually is an exhibition centre, but inside you can find all the explanations about this roman and MiddelAges masterpiece... and this also is free!!! See also the explanade outside ;-)))

I suppose some people may find this interesting, however I found this was quite boring - just a giant, empty room. The one in Trier is much better.

Built during the last days of the Roman Empire, this church has been an arsenal, storehouse, and is now a museum and concert venue. Its stunning. Don't miss it.

I was bit disappointed that the building has been build/rebuilt/added onto so many times that it does not look like much from the outside. The gallo-roman ruins next to it were very interesting though. The esplanade park below was very picturesque (i would rate it as 4 or 5 stars) as was the nearby square with fountains.
