Like for a cathedrale, there's nothing worth seeing. The walls are empty, just some paintings sometimes. However the size of the church is impressive and the little chapels inside the cathedrale are realy cute. It is nice to enter passing by on the way to the citadelle.

Quiet, even though it is in the center of town. There are some good examples of religious art inside. Take the time to enter, sit and reflect on your life's purpose.

My wife and I were walking up tithe Citadel in Besancon when we came upon this church. I am so glad that we decided to take a look inside. To be honest it is spectacular and well worth the few minutes it takes to see it.

Certainly worth a visit if you're in Besançon. Not sure if I'd make the trip just for the cathedral however. Nice position and coming up from the old town you will pass through an old Roman archway, the "Porte Noire" - which since it's been cleaned is no longer black, but still worth seeing.

We came here after visiting the Astrominical Clock and were fortunate enough to visit on a day of free concerts. We attended a very pleasant organ recital featuring a transcription of Bolero which was very well done. After the concert we explored the building and found many beautiful paintings and stained glass windows. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are in town.

Magnifique édifice religieux du centre ville de Besançon, je pense que cela vraiment le coup de s'y arrêter en montant par exemple à la citadelle! A voir absolument

Cette cathédrale aux dimensions limitées se niche en plein choeur de la boucle au-dessus de la grande rue. Des tableaux flamands sont disposés dans la cathédrale et une visite à l'horloge astronomique sur le côté de la cathédrale mérite une petite visite. On est bien dans la ville du temps et capitale des horloges! A deux pas, vous pouvez accéder à la Citadelle.

En simple visite ds ce lieu de culte , mais qui vaut le détour.Très intéressante au niveau architecture et si l'on veut retrouver un tant soit peu de sérénité c'est l'endroit idéal.

旧市街に建つサン・ジャン教会は12世紀に建設が始まり、15世紀に完成した旧市街地区を代表する建築物です。外観は確かにすばらしいのですが、2014年5月に訪問の時は内装を工事中であり、見るべきものもそれほどなく少し残念。周辺はグルメストリートになっています。

Beaucoup de choses ont été faite pour mettre en valeur les nombreux ouvrages conservés et pour les faire connaitre aux visiteurs de passage. La Messe est toujours célébré en été, c'est donc une eglise vivante et accueillante.
