Friendly staff, cheap beers and a loyal Irish/British expat community mark this out to be a home from home if that's what you're looking for. Worth popping in for a brew if you're about but not sure if its somewhere I'd desperately seek out for a drink. Nice place though.

Six of us, three couples , spent a very pleasant afternoon in Uisce Beatha. It's a lovely Irish bar with a very friendly barman/owner , Brendan.

Place is located in very central part of downtown. Small, cosy with extremely friendly owners. Nice range of whiskeys, good beer and they have also home made lemonades. Let the owner to guide you though world od whiskey and you will be more than satisfied.

I'm leaving in Bratislava for like all my life and I must say that Uisce Beatha is the bar with the most friendly staff (the two owners) in the all town. Good beers and a great choice of whiskies. I recommend!

Impecible service, variety and choice, bar management who actually make you valued and welcome (a tad on the rare side in Slovakia) and some awesome atmosphere thrown in for good measure, especially if the Slovak Shamrocks are in the house !!! Sports fixtures thrown in too, but you can't grumble about the long forgotten craft and tradition of good chit chat... Everyone always welcome! You can't miss this charming find... Say Cookie sent ya! ;-)
