Me and my girlfriend came here to see Katy Perry in Feb 2015 ... the arena itself is very modern and looks good.We have been to many concerts all over Europe and prefer the smaller arenas as they are more closer - this was perfect. We did not queue to get in .. we did not queue to get out ... staff were very helpful ... it was perfect. !We also stayed next door at the Hilton hotel, so had only 2 minute walk :)

I saw both a Karel Gott concert and KHL Slovan hockey game at the arena at the end of October. Stayed at the adjacent Double Tree hotel arena. Very nice arena. I didn't have the most expensive seats for either event but could see everything fine. One bonus, for hockey fans, is the inclusion of the Slovak Hockey Hall of Fame displays on the 1st level concourse. Some really nice artifacts from the history of hockey in the CSSR and Slovakia

I like its modern design. Comfy access to the building even when many people attending an event. Restaurants and bars are available outside of the venue but in the same building. If you do not wanna leave the building there is a bar with basic drinks and snacks available. It is better to use public transport getting to the stadium as there is a limited amount of parking spaces.

Having previously been to a few NHL games & few in the British Ice hockey league the chance to watch a KHL match was an opportunity I'm certainly glad we took.Although Slovan had little to play for I've rarely been in a crowd with such an unbelievable atmosphere. Fantastic quality hockey, brilliant arena, value for money & that atmosphere make this a must for any sports enthusiast visiting this fantastic city.

After 50 years finally there is one universal arena which could be used for ice hockey and for concerts with capacity up to 10.000 seats. Modern premises include training hall with 2 ice rings, hotel, restaurant, pub, bar and smaller café. Beer from tank in Budik pub is recommended.

On a short visit to Bratislava I ended up in the Ondrej Nepela Arena twice, once to see Cirque du Soleil and the other to watch HK Slovan. Both experiences were very enjoyable and the arena was easy to find, well laid out, with our seats close to the action. Before the Hockey, like the locals we had our sausages, which were tasty and reasonably priced. On both occasions we took a taxi from our hotel to the stadium, which cost us €10, however the transport links are extremely good. After each event we walked back into the Old Town, which took us around 30 minutes.
