The museum comprises a very complete collection of Soviet military aircraft, anti-aircraft missiles, and armor from the years 1945-1991. Highlights of the collection are MiG-29s (one completely restored that allows a climb up to the cockpit) and variants of T-80s. Limited explanations and almost nobody speaks any English. Not always open. However, if you are in the area and you are into military history, you should go. (It is a six euro taxi ride from the Piesteny hotel area.)?

I visited this museum together with my family (small kids 5 and 2 yo) and my friend's family. The name of this museum itself sounds very interesting but the museum is quite boring. You will have the opportunity to see military equipment from former Communist era. To be honest I was expecting more. Vehicles that are outside of three main buildings (including planes) are very old and very rusty. The main exposition in the buildings is ok but your kids will be bored because they will not be allowed to touch nor try anything. I do not know why, because the military equipment is know for its durability.If you decide to go do not expect to much.

Оружие предоставлено в основном советское, приятно конечно, но как-то неглубокое погружение в историю. Очень маленький музей.

Если учесть,что Пиештяны лечебный курорт и нет каких-то достопримечательностей,то это -исторический музей,который нужно посетить .Он очень маленький!Но можно увидеть старую военную технику в приличном состоянии...Особенно рекомендую посмотреть детям!

Purtroppo è una collezione interessanti, per persone che sono appassionate di storia, ma il museo consiste in capannoni che vengono gestiti da militari e volontari. Ci fossero finanziamenti potrebbe diventare davvero un bel museo. Se si è interessati è sicuramente da visitare.
