This castle is used for conferences and courses by the Slovak Academy of Sciences. It is in fantastic condition, as those attending stay in the castle.It is open to the public, but only in July and August. You may even be able to stay here in summer if there are vacancies.However, it was closed to the public when we were there. The walk from the town is pleasant, as a the walks in he surrounding forest. A number of walks are well signposted.

This Castle is extremely well preserved. We were able to walk up to it and into the grounds undisturbed,but the full tour is a bit more expensive............>

amazing site I love it here and go frequently because its just too hard to stay away. its a nice little walk up to the castle and its absolutely worth it. my favourite time to go here is winter when there is a thick blanket of snow so you can sledge down the hill that is right by the beautiful view. overall great place.

This castle is congres centre for Slovak Academy of Science. But in the summer you can vistit some parts of castle. (Red Saloon, Blue Saloon and so on..). It is nice walk and you can make very nice photos there. My wedding day photos were make there. :) Very romantic place for Couples.

we went to visit this castle we enjoy the trip . the only things could be better was a better guide look like to be too fast and young to be a guide for tourist.

Vicinissimo a Bratislava, costo per la visita irrisorio, forse non bello come altri castelli ma ugualmente da vedere, anche solo in una 1//2 giornata. Torre panoramica e stupenda vista panoramica.

Il panorama esterno è molto bello e curato. Si parcheggia gratuitamente l'auto vicino ad un cimitero e si sale a piedi per una bella strada asfaltata in mezzo al verde (15-20 min). Il castello è imponente e la vista dall'esterno è molto suggestiva. Il cortile interno è grazioso. Si trovano anche servizi igienici e un piccolo bar a prezzi modici. La visita interna dura ca, mezz'ora ma è solo in lingua slovacca quindi per gli stranieri è gratuita (strano ma vero). Si visitano solo poche stanze e non si vede nulla di antico o particolare, praticamente solo poster rimasti appesi a seguito di qualche meeting scientifico (il castello è un centro congressi) ed una piccolissima collezione di carrozzine antiche prima di salire sulla torre, dove si può godere di una bella vista panoramica. Nel complesso consiglio di visitare solo la parte esterna e non perdere tempo per la visita interna.
