Great spot to take in the view of the old Old Town Square. There were only two of us there and it was very charming.

in the picture there is the Barbakan shown, not the Clock Tower. Please change the picture.The Clock Tower stands directly at the main square (SNP Square) and it leans about 1m to side (is not straight).

If you're visiting Banska Bystrica, you're not going to miss the clock tower as it's one of the main focal points in the square. I would also think that most people could schedule the half an hour or so to take a walk up and look around. Is it the most fabulous view I've ever seen? No, but we^re not talking about Paris or the Eiffel tower here. For a tourist in Banska, I'd say go for it.

Such a cool place!! Definately worth the trip out from the capital!! Spent a few weeks in Slovakia and this was my highlight! Great view from top! And so cool that its a leaning tower!!In my travels I found the Slovaks not the friendliest unfortunately-I think those who have traveled here can agree. Even when I was overcome with joy at being at tower (it has been on my bucket-list for 10 years) I hugged the base.. a man came out from the taxi rank at the bottom, mumbled and spat on the ground before going back in! Huh! Anyway, I was happy!The tower and square in front of it it a lovely spot!

The Clock Tower or the Leaning Tower is not to represent on the picture above. This is the Barbican main entrance to the Town Castle. The Clock Tower is located on the top of SNP square. At this time is deviated 68 cm from the basis. This state is explained by the old legend. It was tilted by angels who crashed and seized its top while flying over its roof at night. From the top of the Tower is nice view around, but now is not possible used this attraction because starts safety inspection of the Tower. Another names of the Tower are referred as green or weight. Under tower was before town torture chamber and prison.

Actually I've visited when winter so nothing to do, but I can imagine how the situation when summer, it will be great!

that is possible to visit, as I see. It is not possible to visit this tower but another one in SNP square. There is city Castle called Barbakan there.

It's an easy climb upstairs to enjoy the 360 degrees view over the center of the town. The ticket costs 1 Euro and it is sure worth to visit it and enjoy the bird view of the town and surrounding hills.

really skew tower in east side of main square. Similar like in Pisa. Is possible climb to top and see panorama of town
