There is a very nice church in Banska Bystrica - in the area of the city castle. Visit it if u can - church is called Parish church or Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary or German church. Interiour is wonderful - u will find there carved wooden altarpiece of St. Barbara dated 1509 from the carving workshop of the famous Master Paul of Levoča or bronze baptismal font made by Master Jodok in 1475. Intersting is also Gothic curved-ribbed vault - constructed by Anton Pilgram, moravian master builder, who was later a leader of building workshop at St. Stephen church in Vienna. Advice: church can be visited only short before the Holly Mass or short after - but you will sure not regret to see it from inside.

На мой взгляд, это самая красивая церковь города. Интерьер можно посмотреть до и после мессы, однако и снаружи здание величественно и необычно.
