Its very nice rebuild and I like the restaurant very much. The food is tasty and for a very good prize. So I come back always when going to the Sumava hills.

The Renaissance Castle was built 1590 by the Gentlemen of Račíny Račína, probably on the site of a a medieval castle. Jan Ferdinand Desfours had the Castle converted 1731, before he moved from the old Renaissance Castle, he had a new baroque castle built. The castle was known as "the tower", which was the pride of the Castle and already visible from afar. The Tower collapsed down on 26 July 1976, a good 245 years after the construction of the new castle. The tower had three floors, a mansard roof and was built on older foundations of the tower. About two-thirds of the tower consisted of wooden staircase, later only used as Bell-Tower. A drawing of this tower is kept in the regional archives. At present it serves as a restaurant.

io e il mio compagno un paio di volte all'anno andiamo a praga e poi qualche giorno in Rep. Ceca alla ricerca di pace e tranquillità. Siamo stati qui la prima volta nel 2011 e abbiamo voluto tornare anche quest'anno per vedere se era rimasto lo splendido posto che sapevamo. Sorpresa! ancora meglio, tenuto benissimo, giardino ampliato e curato, pitture e stucchi interni perfettamente conservati. Le camere sono ampie, ben arredate, il bagno con tutti i confort di lusso, la pulizia perfetta ovunque. C'è anche un ristorante in un incantevole salone con il soffitto ad archi dove vengono serviti piatti gustosi e ben fatti, ottima birra (beh la birra ceca è la migliore al mondo), servizio curato. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è notevole sia per l'alloggio che per il ristorante. Il personale della reception è gentile e premuroso e ben preparato ad accogliervi. Questo è veramente l'hotel migliore che abbiamo trovato non solo nella Sumava ma in tutta la Rep. Ceca in 25 anni! Questo è il posto dove rilassarsi con gusto e charme. I dintorni offrono poi la meraviglia del Bosco Boemo. Torneremo l'anno prossimo, anche perchè stanno facendo i lavori per creare una spa....Meraviglioso posto da dieci e lode
