last time I was here I just had a quick look in passing but on this trip was able to spend more time having a look.there is still quite a bit of the wall still standing and a large part is part of the boundry of a car park which does not offer the best photos.nice enough little diversion when in the town.

Take your time when wandering around the town and discover these charming historical stone walls. Best in the spring with all those cherry trees in blossom. Why don't you take your sweetheart there to have a romantic kiss? :-)

It is an interesting trip,I was really in the are to visit a micro brewery but took time out for a wander round the walls or what remains of them.

Very nice ancient ruins - they are located around old city area with Hus Square in the middle.There is a "green" area along walls - people walk along it.By the way, there are no any high buildings near these walls - so modern small buildings do not contrast with walls - the common view looks like united architectural ensemble.

Были в Бероуне вместе сыном 10 лет на хоккейных сборах.Сыну понравилась стена, постоянно залезал и изучал.Он считает, что эта стена сохранилась с древних времен и защищала город от врагов.

Система городских укреплений в Бероуне очень хорошо сохранилась и поддерживается в отличном состоянии. Гуляя вдоль старинных городских стен, словно погружаешься в давно ушедшую эпоху, впитываешь в себя дух средневековья. Близлежащая территория утопает в зелени, есть скамейки, туалет, и повсюду указатели на основные достопримечательности города. Хороший вариант для однодневного выезда из шумной Праги, учитывая, что в Бероуне можно также посетить медведариум и ресторан при местном пивоваре.

Есть пара мест, где крепостные стены видны. Ничего примечательного в них нет. На руинах подростки пьют пиво.

Развалины стены по окраине города. Так себе, никакого визуального наслаждения не получил от них. Может они и имеют какую то историческую ценность.
