Not far from Riga and as a weekend relaxing I could suggest. You can see cinema places for different movies and you could take a picture.There is a place inside and you can rent clothes for photo taken inside. It is funny, must to to!

It is an interesting place, but nothing outstanding. A medley of elements of different epoches, not that large in number though. Moreover, the place looks quite deserted and untended.

you need to travel by car (or bus) to get there, but once you are there, they will let you dress up like a soldier (you chose which side) and then they show you round and tell you how the movie Riga's Sargi was made. Very exciting.

Cinevilla is an open air movie decoration town build for the historical film "Defenders of Riga" , its quite big- the City side of the Daugava River shoreline, fragment historic facades, the tram line, bridge passages, military equipment and other props, etc.The place offers a quiet wide range of entertainment but it isn’t every day thing. It is possible to feel like actors and learn about filmmaking in detail. Check that in their website for info.We took the costume rent and that was fun! You may get an army uniform, a costume of a war nurse or a city lady dress. You can put on the costume, take a walk through Cinevilla and have your picture taken.I would advise to take a guided tour. Really nice time, well worth visit!

Бутафорские здания, мосты и прочие вещи, служащие (служившие) в качестве кинодекораций. Есть и реальные вещи - паровоз, старинный трамвай. Воссозданы хутора и другие элементы. Большая территория. Стоит заглянуть по дороге.

В 2004 году недалеко от Тукумса построили киногородок для съемок самого дорогого латвийского фильма «Стражи Риги». Городок с каждым последующим фильмом рос. И теперь там есть торговая площадь, перрон с паровозом и вагонами, мост через реку, набережная Даугавы с судами, брусчатая мостовая, трамвайные пути с трамвайчиком, церковь, улицы с домами, деревенская усадьба, в котором снимали фильм «Наследство Рудольфа», много автомобильной и военной техники и даже что-то связанное с индейцами.Есть даже собственный отель - самый настоящий.Мы приехали в Cinevilla на отмечание национального праздника Ligo - было очень весело, красиво, интересно, с массой конкурсов, и завершилось «голым забегом», победитель которого получил право зажечь традиционный костер.

Немецкая и советская автотехника, броневики. Корабль, паровоз. Ребенок в восторге. И мы как любители советских фильмов. Понравилось! На автомобиле долго по полям кружили, прежде чем найти.
