This place offers various typical Sicilian cheeses and salamis accompanied by very good quality wines especially the Nero d'Avola & Moscato. Worth visiting.

my gfriend picked this place. when i enter i was somehow sceptical because it looks like a cheese, meat and wine shop. but oooooh surprise we had a full degustation of local products with expert advices and explanation of the owner. lovely guy full of patience, talent and knowledge! perfect experience! the best was of course the wine out of the tank like at the gas station!

Made a little detour based on other Tripadvisor recommendations and are glad we did. Liked it so much we stopped in a second time. Very helpful staff that appear to be a family. Worked with us to get through the language barrier and get us what we wanted. Offered free wine, cheese and bread samples and provided great wine recommendations. We ended up with a couple of nice bottles of local wine and some meat, cheese and food for a picnic.They also sell a variety of local food products that make nice gifts. This type of stuff is available all over Sicily but their prices here were pretty good and the staff was very helpful. While there we noticed a lot of locals stopping in to get sandwiches or fill up bulk wine jugs from some of their large wine vats. Only recommendation would be posting hours on the metal doors. Hours are on the windows, but when they are closed you can't see them. They open at 6 AM and close around 2 PM, reopening at 4:30 PMNeat place with good food and nice people. Make a quick detour and stop in.

A wonderful establishment run by a charming family. We were invited to try local products including olive oil, cheeses, wine, and bread. Everything was delicious.If you're lucky enough to visit Avola, you must stop here.

In this food and wine shop, you can buy excellent red wine, white wine, rosé, sweet wine and cheeses. You can buy bottled wine or you can buy it by the litre. You can also ask the friendly staff to make you a sandwich to take away. They will let you taste all wines and cheeses that they sell. Well worth a visit, for example for an excellent packed lunch to take to the beach!

L'oste sa veramente fare il suo lavoro! Trasmette passione in tutto quello che dice e fa da ogni poro! Le descrizioni di vino e prodotti tipici hanno reso la degustazione mooooooolto coinvolgente. Altissima qualità e prezzi davvero stracciati!

Siamo passati per una degustazione di vino ed altri prodotti tipici (soprattutto formaggi e salumi), e siamo stati benissimo. Tutto ottimo, tanta gentilezza e quando siamo partiti non siamo nemmeno andati a cena talmente avevamo già mangiato. Il paradiso dei buongustai!

Prodotti sempre freschi e gustosi! Staff gentilissimo e veloce! Trovi sempre tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno ! Prodotti di qualità!

Assaggio di sei vini (dal bianco, passando per il rosso, fino al dolce), accompagnati da salumi, formaggi, pane con l'olio e qualche altro stuzzichino.Vini ottimi, salumi e formaggi idem. Il ragazzo che gestisce l'enoteca saprà darvi delucidazioni dettagliate riguardo ai vini che assaggerete.E il tutto per il prezzo "stracciatissimo" di circa 5 euro a testa.Unica pecca: trattandosi di un'enoteca, che vende anche salumi e formaggi, lo spazio è ridotto, e i tavolini sono solo due. Ma se siete fortunati e trovate posto, ne uscirete sicuramente contentissimi!

Trovato per caso qui su trip.la gentilezza,cortesia e competenza la fa da padrona!!! Ottimi sia i salumi che i formaggi,e il vino e' sublime! Ci ritornerò sicuramente!!!!
