The tour guide was excellent. An interesting history of the Jewish faith in Casale. THe interior was beautiful.

This synagogue was built in 1595. Guidebooks call it one of the most beautiful in Europe. I agree.The synagogue is lovingly maintained by 7 people comprising the entire local Jewish community. Their devotion to the building, museum and cultural outreach is remarkable. Tour guides to the museum are unpaid, non-Jewish volunteers. The synagogue tour is usually done by one of the 4 older members of the congregation. One went to high school and college in Wisconsin, email ahead and see if she can give your tour unless you speak Italian. The love of this small cadre for the building and all it represents adds to a wonderful experience.You must see the marvelous display of Menorahs in the basement gallery. An incredible artistic display of variations on the simple theme of 9 candles. Apparently there are over 100 in the collection, not all are on display. My favorites were the dancing rabbis, the split violin and the bees.

Our hosts had arranged a private tour for us of the entire synagogue. The guide was fluent in English (which was great for us) and incredibly knowledgeable and eager to share what he knew and obviously loved about the building. The history of the synagogue, the beauty of the sanctuary and the collections are astounding. This is a hidden beauty and ranks high on my chart of synagogues to see. Don't miss the Chanukkiah collection downstairs.

Merita una visita se siete di passaggio, oramai rimasta una piccola comunità, sono estremamente gentili e disponibili.

Anche Questo Luogo, Come per la Sinagoga, Conserva in se Caratteristiche e Particolarità Assolutamente e Veramente Uniche nel loro Genere. Certamente è da Vedere e da Visitare. A Mio Parere Puramente Personale, se ci si trova in Zona, Sarebbe proprio un vero Peccato il non Recarsi.

Guida molto competente e simpatica che ha saputo in due ore fitte di visita trasmettere anche ai neofiti dell'ebraismo informazioni ed "atmosfera"!

Museo e sinagoga annessa ben tenute e curate. La guida molto molto preparata e piacevole da ascoltare. Le due ore della visita guidata sono volate senza rendercene conto.

un angolo di storia molto interessante: il museo ebraico e il museo dei lumi che sono all'altezza della Sinagoga, tra le più belle d'Europa!

Museo bellissimo,molto interessante con reperti unici e storici , poi con un ala dedicata all vita Ebraica dai tempi dell Antico Testamento ai giorni nostri . Da vedere il Museo è stupendo

Dopo un buon pranzo in zona, appesantiti dal vino corposo e dalla bagna cauda, finiamo quasi x caso a visitare questo museo con Maurizio come affabile e competente intrattenitore-guida, senza il quale (ma penso che valga anche x le altre) tour non sarebbe davvero così interessante! La parte della mostra dei candelabri dell'Chanukkah è semplicemente deliziosa, peccato che debbano "ruotare" le opere x mancanza di spazio e non le si vedono tutte dal vivo! Tappa obbligata se siete in zona ma APERTO SOLO DI DOMENICA! Credo che in settimana facciamo visite solo x gruppi prenotati, sabato escluso, ovvio!
