Walk along Canobio's promenade to the rido then along the river inland & climb up to enjoy the view of this really old bridge. The tiny Grotto restaurant at the top is open only for full lunch or dinner, no light refreshments & you need to book.

This is a pleasant spot for a picnic. There is a 12th century bridge which is well preserved but no longer passable. There is an old church with a restaurant behind it. The restaurant was closed. It is possible to walk down to the river for a swim and to picnic.However I have seen other picnic spots around Europe that are more beautiful. I would only come here if I had nothing better to do,

My wife and I spent 5-days in Cannobio celebrating our 25th anniversary and drove up to Orrido di sant'anna. Wow - spectacular. Wonderful and picturesque views - historic and interesting.We hiked down to the river gorge and even better. Marvelous, quiet, and magical. If you are in Cannobio - visit this place. We regret that we did not eat at the restaurant here!!Believe it or not, there is even a clean and modern toilet faculty down the hiking trail to the river.

This is a beautiful place, within easy walking distance of Cannobio. The walk along the river is along a good path and from the church there are fantastic views over the Cannobino river and gorge.

Fantastic almost magical location , surrounded by water, if the weather permits try and sit outside, the food is all fresh and locally sourced prepared and presented perfectly ,staff are friendly and the ambience is priceless.surrounded by waterfalls nestled alongside the river , it truly is a magical place and the quality of the food is fantastic,Cannobio itself is a beautiful place surrounded by mountains and situated on the edge of lago Maggiore, the restaurant is a walk or a short drive from the town but definitely worth the effort.

Fantastic views from the church over the Cannobino river and gorge. Great spot for a picnic - with toilet facilities and a cold drinks machine. There's also a restaurant behind the church with a small but enticing menu,

Neben der Brücke kann man parken und zum Wasser nach unten laufen. An dem kleinen Fluss kann man baden und die Natur genießen. Das Flusswasser ist auch im Hochsommer angenehm kalt, da die Quelle in den Bergen liegt. Auch schöne Spaziergänge sind von hier aus möglich.

Мы были на машине. Нам не повезло , храм был закрыт. Есть старинный мост , но больше ничего особенного.

Ce lieu est magnifique. Situé dans la montagne, cette petite chapelle surplombe un gouffre où coule une rivière.Vous pouvez descendre au niveau du gouffre par un chemin aménagé. Un piquenique s'impose !! ^^
