we went to the first edge with children (4 and 6 years), it was nice and safety. it was great to see the rainbow! Important: there is a shuttle to reach the start of the stroll (close access to cars). the shuttle goes around form la thuile to the waterfall but there is'n any timetable

It is a nice walk to do in La thuile, really easy one you can also go with kids (and young kids) until the second one ! Really nice Sport the fallwater are really strong over june and when the sun is here you can see nice rainbow !

A must-do walk for summer visitors to La Thuile. The 'waterfalls walk' includes 3 waterfalls, the first of which can be reached by an easy 15-minute walk, partly in the shade of a pine forest. There is a spectacular "cauldron" and an impressive mass of water, especially if you visit during spring melt. There is also a little bridge round the back - and on many visits I have never found the place crowded. The next 2 falls are about an hour further up (ten minutes separate falls 2 and 3), after some rather steeper walking (recommend proper trekking boots) alternated with flattish stretches through meadows - spectacular flowers in June. After the third waterfall you can go on up to a Lake and then the final one-hour hike up to the Rifugio Deffeyes, just below the eponymous glacier, for a rest and a hearty plate of polenta before making your way back down (you can also sleep there and go trekking on the glacier next morning - booking essential) If you walk quietly and stay away from groups, you will certainly hear marmots calling and may well see them.

Siamo passati dalle tre cascate salendo al Rifugio Albert Deffeyes.Una più bella e spettacolare dell'altra.Il fragore causato dalla massa d'acqua è impressionante, porta persino via il rumore della voce.Da ammirare, fotografare e filmare.

lunga ma splendida la passeggiata alle cascate del rutor, in un crescendo di intensità e spettacolo. Fino alla terza con il nuovo ponte sospeso che è una emozione! perfetta anche per i bambini a patto che siano un po' allenati: i nostri sono entusiasti di questa passeggiata. L'alternativa dopo la terza cascata è passare dai laghetti di Bellecombe, meravigliosi. Se no salire fino al rifugio, quasi come essere sulla luna.

Splendida passeggiata con partenza da hotel botton d'or effettuata tra pezzi innevati e ghiacciati che ci ha portato alla scoperta della prima cascata in un periodo che normalmente richiede attrezzatura adeguata, ma visto le temperature ( 12° ) ci hanno permesso di arrivare in un luogo spettacolare.

Bellissimi i passaggi tra i boschi e lungo i percorsi...Bello quando si arriva alla prima cascata, un po' faticoso ma ne vale la pena!!

Un oasi di pace in un percorso coinvolgente da fare con la famiglia.Arrivati alla terza cascata consiglio il ritorno seguendo il sentiero ad anello che riporta tranquillamente a La Joux. Adatto anche per bambini con un po'di voglia di camminare.Il tempo di percorrenza segnalato alla partenza non deve avere grande importanza......gustatevi la passeggiata...

Nelle vicinanze del comune di La Thuile è possibile fare un'interessante escursione verso le cascate del Rutor. Da quando è stato rifatto il sentiero è agevole a tutti senza difficoltà e la vista merita decisamente. Nelle belle giornate è facile avvistare esemplari di fauna locale.

Sono arrivata fino alla seconda cascata purtroppo partendo troppo tardi non avevo possibilita' di arrivare all'ultima che sarebbe stata sicuramente la più spettacolare la prossima volta!!
