Good food, great service, and at a price you'll be happy with. Not too far from the slope and you ski in on what in the summer is a road, speed limit signs and street lamps - weird!

Fantastic way of seeing France from Italy. Skiing id easy reds, scenery is spectacular. Very busy as weekends and Thursdays. Well worth a go.

One of the most beautiful/spectacular passes in Europe, between France and Italy. We have passed it many times. Particularly spectacular in the summer when one can drive through and or trek around the paths. Dotted with lovely restaurants as well. Pass is closed in the winter. A must.

Stayed in La Thuile overnight then ventured in our motorhome down the pass to La Rossiere. The journey up was far better, and the restaurants on the top lovely. Well worth a visit.

Hotel facilities were very good i.e. swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym.The distance to the ski lifts from the boot room was very close. However the resort is very quite with not allot to do if you don't ski or get injured.The choice and quality of food in the restaurant was good, with a spacious dinning room.

Having read the previous review we always intended to do this walk on our visit to La Thuile.Our first attempt failed before it started as the car park at the bottom was full- I recommend avoiding weekends in the summer. We ended up doing the walk on our last day and we shared the falls with only a handful of people which was lovely.The falls were raging when we visited which may have been because of all the snow which still hadnt melted.We recommend taking the excursion on path 7 up to Belvedere as it gives great views of fall two and three and is only 15 mins to the top.Great walk, lovely views but for the higher falls you will definitely need good boots and walking poles helped too.

.......albeit on skis. After years driving around the Alps from resort to resort I now understand why I have never driven across it!!! Great skiing though, and wonderful views.

This is an amazing spot to stand particularly if on top of one of the La Thuile ski trails. On a clear day Monte Bianco and the alpine ridge can be seen for ever with the clearly distinct peak of the Matterhorn in the distance. I have to admit though that I've only ever been there when it's covered in snow but some of the old frontier fort ruins can evoke glimpses of another time. The only spoiler for that perfect picture post card scene is the fairly significant hydro electric line and towers that bring nuclear generated electricity into Italy. They cut right across the pass.

Great skiing and superb snow with awesome views with a good place to stop and eat. For those wishing for more of an adventure try the kite skiing

L'ultima volta siamo passati sciando, le due piste che lo sovrastano (rossa e nera) sono fantastiche.Anche d'estate (a parte le automobili) il luogo è bello ed interessante: parecchie escursioni dipartono su entrambi i versanti. Il vento spira perennemente e rende un sentore di libertà
