I was eager to raft the Dora Baltea whilst staying in the area and found this was one of the best priced opportunity and found the staff more than helpful.I was staying in Chamonix, France. And a lot of the local tours from there to Dora Baltea were more expensive (the local river really isn't worth it if you have drafted before). Having a car therefore I drove to Rafting Republic, it's is extremely easy to find and the road is pretty much straight all the way (the mont blanc tunnel is €50 day return though).The team at RR were extremely helpful and friendly, they rallied round and got me kitted up quickly. All the kit was good quality and new enough. The boat was also in good shape. When I visited it was very quiet, which I was not expecting due to the high river and the great weather, however it was midweek - if you are a solo traveller / small group, looking to join another group then you are likely to have more success at the weekend.The team prep you on all the skills and commands and before long you are on the river. It is a fantastic river to raft and I would highly recommend it. RR have a riverside photographer who follows your decent and captures some great shots, the raft coxswain also has a video recorder to capture the decent. The whole package of pics and video on a memory stick to take away was €25 and is a great deal in my opinion!Overall it was a great day out made perfect by the staff at rafting republic! Thanks!

We were a family of five and it was our first experience of rafting, and it was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful Our instructor Ricky was great - a true professional! All in all, everything went very well. The only downside I would say was that since the waters were rather low, we did not get the full run, but we paid the full price. We were told to take the classic package and I think, paying for the family one would have been enough. The video is too expensive at 20 euro, I would suggest it being included in the price. The showers and changing rooms and the whole place in general needs some renovation, and I would suggest that there be appropriate lockers / safe storage space.

La Rafting Republic si trova in un ambiente veramente piacevole su una sponda della Dora a pochi km da Aosta, è gestita da un gruppo di ragazzi che vi faranno sentire a vostro agio e che sono molto competenti e disponibili come guide per le esperienze di rafting ed hydrospeed.Eccellente per rilassarsi e per imparare queste discipline!

Posto meraviglioso e staff eccellente .... Il chiosco merita una sosta per un cocktail e un buon panino a prezzi veramente onesti ...

Era tempo che volevo provare questa esperienza.. Chiaro che parliamo di una discesa da neofita, ma.. Scendere il fiume (1 ora circa) su un gommone e osservare natura e paesaggi da una prospettiva diversa è esperienza quasi spirituale.. Alle tue spalle il Monte bBanco.. Intorno a te le acque tumultuose del Dora Baltea.. Wow! Se possibile fate il bagno nel fiume.. Mentre scendi ti chiedi.."lo sto facendo davvero..?".. Il personale cordiale, preparato e disponibile.. Da ripetere..

Tutti fortemente motivati, i ragazzi cercano di rendere ogni attività un'esperienza unica, e ci riescono. Sono preparati, lavorano in piena sicurezza, e nelle discese non manca il buon umore! In un contesto rilassante puoi godere di un'area ideale anche per le famiglie. Qualità prezzo direi ottimo. Un grazie particolare a Davidino che ha saputo rendere il tutto veramente "magico"!

Fantastico! Rafting Republic è davvero un mix di relax, con la zona verde, e adrenalina con le molteplici proposte in acqua. Il personale è accogliente e ti sprona a divertirti! Consigliato per tutti coloro che vogliono passare giornate in modo alternativo.. ma con divertimento assicurato!

Quando voglio andare a fare rafting con gli amici vengo sempre qui e ovviamente puntiamo sulla versione élite! Divertente e impegnativa allo stesso tempo. Con 5 ore di tempo a disposizione e almeno 3 ore di vero rafting con difficoltà crescente. Il paesaggio è bellissimo. Lo staff è simpatico e con loro ci si fa sempre delle belle risate insieme. C'è la possibilità di usare le sports camere (tipo gopro) anche personali per immortalare la giornata! (Chiedete allo staff su come poter sistemare la camera sul vostro casco perchè vi aiuteranno volentieri. A me la hanno sistemata loro!). Comunque c'è anche la possibilità di comprare il video che quelli dello staff girano durante le escursioni.L'unica cosa che mi sento di criticare è che l'ultima volta in cui ho fatto rafting purtroppo eravamo in un numero eccessivo per il gommone e quindi 1 di noi è dovuto stare davanti a guardare senza "pagaiare" e quindi senza poter partecipare attivamente all'attività. Noi ci siamo lamentati e con dispiacere da parte di entrambi ci è stata "accreditata" una parte della somma pagata dalla persona sfortunata. Con quella somma però poi abbiamo poi comprato il video girato da loro. A parte quest'ultimo inconveniente mi sento di consigliarlo a tutti!
