this is a little walk from the nearest road - but worth it. A lovely long (400m) beach with stunning white cliffsWe had it all to ourselves most of the time - with a warm Adriatic lovely for swimming in October. Not so sure I'd want to be there in the high season - heat and possible crowds!

the place is amazing even though the water is not so clean and clear. on the weekend too many people and terrible tourist boat trip that invades the beach for 1h!!! take a canoe and go around discovering caves and little private beaches! go to the bar to eat seppie with potatos and enjoy the superfriendly people working there!

The view, the peace, the towering white cliffs were breathtaking. And the food was great from the little cafe located onsite. Wish I knew about the path to walk down to the beach from the parking lot. We paid 5 Euro to get a ride in a bus down a rocky road that had us airborne with resulting sore fannies the next day (but a fun memory none-the-less). Will TOTALLY RETURN!!

One of the nicest beaches in this area. Clear water, impressive view, beautiful stones and you can find a place in the shade of the cliffs. Just do not forget to take your bathing shoes.

A very clean and friendly beach, with beautiful attractions available close-by. I was there in June 2012 with my boyfriend and two Italian friends. We parked the car and strolled down the big hill to the Vignanotica beach, but shuttle bus is also available for those who prefer, as the walk is a bit steep (but gorgeous!). Michele, the host in Vignanotica beach, is a very friendly and happy chap, he was eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We enjoyed a bottle of cold rosé, very refreshing in the hot weather, and later a plate of pane e pomodori, a typical Italian dish. Tasty. We rented a pedal boat and headed out to the grottos, the caves. There are at least three named ones, di Colorati (of colours), di Serpente (of the serpent) and then a third one I can't remember at the moment but something like a tower, as the inside of the cave is as high as a clock tower. All three caves were stunning! In all it was a lovely day at Vignanotica Beach. I would highly recommend going there, especially in June and September when the local crowds are not so big. So refreshing to be at a beach that has not been spoilt by "English" tourism!! :) I will be back to Vignanotica, for sure.

Una delle baie e delle spiagge più belle del gargano "alto" purtroppo la presenza dei barconi che fanno fare il giro delle calette stipati su un piccolo porticciolo artigianale fa si che soprattutto nei mesi di maggior turismo la spiaggia sia a determinate ore ( di sbarco e carico "bestiame" ) impraticabile. Superato questo, vi consiglio di arrivare presto la mattina, perché l'imponente costone di roccia alle vostre spalle seppur mastodontico e stupendo vi farà abbronzare al massimo fino alle 16 del pomeriggio!

Cosa dire.. bella bella bella. Un incanto, un paradiso dal mare trasparente. Bellissima la scogliera che la sovrasta ma che, purtroppo, copre il sole da metà pomeriggio. Il fatto che l'ombra arrivi presto è il suo unico difetto, per il resto un posto dove tornare e che è difficile dimenticare. Bellissime le grotte poco a sinistra della spiaggia. La roccia circostante è interessantissima: si vedono le strisce di selce di cui ancora si possono trovare gli scarti preistorici di lavorazione ed i cui frantumipiccolissimi e dalla colorazione rosata-marrone costellano tutta la spiaggia frammisti ai sassolini bianchi.Un incanto anche per questo.

Splendida spiaggia nel cuore del Gargano,circondata da immense pareti di roccia bianca,su cui pini e arbusti mediterranei si aggrappano rendendo la visione ancora più fantastica. Acqua cristallina e colori mozzafiato. La spiaggia si raggiunge in macchina(o per i più volenterosi a piedi) fino a giungere in un parcheggio dove un pulmino vi accompagnerà per gli ultimi 800 metri. Inoltre vi sono un paio di bar (dotati di un proprio stabilimento con ombrelloni) dove poter tranquillamente prendere qualcosa da mangiare o da bere.
