There is no doubt that a visit to see the mummies has an element of sensationalism, however, there is much more. It is a place of contemplation that gets the mind whirring. There is a reverence associated with the place.

We were so interested in learning the historical significance of this church and the mummies; luckily we arrived and their was an English language guide. She was so helpful in explaining the history. The mummies that remain in the crypt are very preserved however they were a little creepy to the kids however they were fascinated with this place.

Mummies was probably one of the last things I'd expect to see in a small South Italian Town, but that could be because I've missed that history class...It is definitely a must see for those not easily scared as I Think it could give nightmares to Children and some adults too!A difficulty is to figure out when it is actually open, you have to give it a try and wish for the best!

Achei muito interessante, um piuco macabro eu sei, ver aquelas 11 múmias eretas, de pessoas aue viveram no sëculo 9... Vale a oena a visita!

Non avevo mai avuto la possibilità di vedere un sito così particolare.Trovare una tale serie di mummie è sicuramente uno spettacolo poco consueto e magari anche non particolarmente gradevole. È sicuramente interessante capire le ragioni per questa presenza.Vale la pena fare la visita, a patto di non essere molto impressionabili.
