We went there for a lunch, it is a self-service place with a wide selection of mostly seafood dishes, salads and paninos.The staff is very friendly and prices reasonable considering the restaurants location. Recommended for lunch on the beach.

Went one a day trip from Rome on. Thursday in July. Expected huge crowds and found the beach to be busy and lively and not overcrowded. We found this establishment to be the most spacious and well organized of all the ones we saw. Walk along the beach road to the south after getting off the bus. Reserve a spot in advance if you can. Very nice little restaurant with very friendly staff that all could speak a little English. You got to bring your own towels but we just bought towels for 10€. Public transport in Italy is very inexpensive. We took a taxi from Trastevere to Termini station for 10€ and then bought our train tickets from the tobacco shop. Be sure to buy the return tickets also. This was about 52€ return for four people. It is important to stamp your ticket before getting on the train. This is done at the little yellow and green stampers at the entrance to the platforms. Unlike the busses in Rome the trains seemed to run on time. Once at Fondi - Sperlonga buy your return bus ticket from the little tobacco shop in the station for 1€ one way. The bus driver will want to see your ticket again unlike in Rome. The bus run every hour. The whole trip took one and half hours and was easy. Bottom line is absolutely wonderful and worthwhile trip to do from Rome. We were warned that weekends can be very crowded in Summer. We were charged 50€ for two umbrellas and four loungers for a day.

There are few places that are as special as Sperlonga, with the Grotta Dei Delfini establishing why it is such an enchanting place. Newly renovated in the summer of 2013 (after apparently disastrous fire), this beach establishment is incredible!My family has made a point to stay a week every summer in Sperlonga, and go to the beach of Grotta dei Delfini. The Grotta dei Delfini, in addition to Sperlonga in general, is definitely a well kept secret among Italians. This is not a typical tourist destination, but overhearing conversations on the beach, you can tell that it attracts people "in the know". Whether it be a famous soccer player looking for a low key yet sophisticated escape, or a couple traveling from the states, you can see that the Grotta dei Delfini is a go-to place. Everything from management to the kitchen is put together quite nicely. I know its family run for a long time, so the experience is there, and the place is run very professionally. The best times to go are clearly early July and late June, when it is quite enough to have the place practically to yourself. In August, as vacations are in full swing, it is hard to find a place on the beach, with many people reserving spots a year in advance. Overall, this is one of the most coveted spots on the beach in Sperlonga, and with the new renovation, seems that its future looks quite bright.

Siamo stati oggi con una coppia di amici, il ristorante mi era stato consigliato da un amico e devo dire che siamo rimasti incantati non solo per l' ottimo cibo che era a dir poco squisito, ma anche per la gentilezza dei proprietari e del personale che visto il brutto tempo e sicuramente il pienone di ieri per San Valentino hanno praticamente tenuto aperto solo per noi, facendoci trovare un bel calduccio e una tavola apparecchiata con cura in ogni dettaglio e al centro un bellissimo mazzo di rose rosse. Siamo stati benissimo, la location e' fantastica, non oso pensare a quanto possa esserlo con il sole, il pesce tutto fresco e ottimo, i fritti leggerissimi e digeribilissimi, un antipasto eccezzionale e gustoso, insomma questo pranzo e' stato come si suol dire la ciliegina sulla torta di questo fantastico Weekend!!!

Un pranzo davvero ottimo con davanti il mare. Io e il mio ragazzo ci siamo andati di domenica; passeggiando per il lungo mare abbiamo deciso di fermarci presso questo lido. Dei piatti davvero buoni, bellissimo il posto per non parlare del mare che ne dava una stupenda cornice.

Ancora una volta da Peppino. Conosciuto grazie a Nicola, ancora una volta sono andato a mangiare da Peppino che ha, come sempre, confermato di essere il miglior ristoratore di Sperlonga. Una impeccabile conduzione familiare, capace di trattare tutti i clienti come "clienti particolari". Piatti preparati con estrema cura, ottimi, con una varietà eccezionale a costi contenuti e competitivi. Pulitissimo, accogliente, una vera PERLA del litorale. Consiglio spaghetti cozze, vongole e pachino...Gli spaghetti alla Peppino! Bravissimi!!!!
