Musical instruments are a speciality that has fused the Marches as a creative haven in Italy.

The Basilica is built inside a fort. Actually some of the walls of the Basilica are also the fort. Very interesting and historical place.

The Basilica of Loreto is the only fortified basilica in Italy, and perhaps the world, and the ramparts have only recently been open to visitors. By this I mean the first time ever after 500 years. Not for anyone without a head for heights that's for sure. The view to the Conero is immense, but its the smaller details which impress, not least the ancient wooden anti-earthquake apparatus above the main dome. Another detail are the cat and dog paw prints in 500 year old bricks which had obviosuly not set before being taken up to the top all that time ago. Do not miss doing this.

The most wonderful experience I have ever had in my whole life! ( I did not have any idea what to expect and what was inside) From the moment I walked into the Basilica I could feel that it was a Holy place! I had goosebumps and inside the church the presence of the Holy Father very prominent. Unknown to many people this is "the shrine of the Holy House" Three walls are the original walls of the house ( saved and shipped across the sea by christians) where Mary the mother of Jesus lived as a child and were given the wonderful news by Gabriel.

In una giornata di sole, ho colto l'occasione di accompagnare i miei bambini di 3 e 5 anni a visitare questa parte della nostra Basilica che non avevo visto neanche io. Sono rimasta molto soddisfatta di questa scelta, perchè ho appreso molte nozioni nuove sulla storia della mia Loreto, grazie alla guida molto esperta che ci ha accompagnato. I miei bambini si sono divertiti moltissimo perché il panorama è molto bello e giocavamo a riconoscere i luoghi dall'alto.

Le pietre trasudano storia e noi abbiamo bisogno di percepire quello che altri prima di noi hanno fatto, per poter capire che anche noi facciamo parte della storia e abbiamo il dovere di costruire qualcosa per i figli dei nostri figli. Panorami mozzafiato.

Bella visita a carattere storico culturare... si puo' apprezzare oltre al panorame la struttura archittetonica della basilica.... molto interessante!!!

Il tour si svolge camminando tutto intorno alla parte superiore della Basilica, accompagnati da uno dei volontari che provvederanno ha raccontarti un po' di storia di questi camminamenti e della Basilica stessa. Durante il tour si può godere di un ottimo panorama di Loreto dei paesi vicini e della costa adriatica.
