Seborga is a town pretending to me a principality, but it's not. I'm not saying it's a tourist trap, but in the end there's very little to see. I passed through it whilst mountain-biking in the area hence my title. If you happen to drive past it, surely take half an hour to walk through it, but don't make this your primary destination of the day.

This is a beautiful town in the hills above the Italian riviera. An easy drive compared to some the hillside towns. Interesting history, an independent sovereign status. Not too touristy, well kept, easy to walk around and lovely friendly locals. Good food especially the rabbit restaurant ( coniglio )Beautiful view, well worth a visit

A pretty village with an interesting story. A pleasant place to wander around especially if you've been to the market in Bordighera on Thursday morning, this makes an easy inland excursion after lunch just for a couple of hours.

The tiny, but scenic village of Seborga (30 minutes from Nice/Monaco/Sanremo) was an independent fiefdom for 800+ years but is still insisting on it sovereign status (at least that's what they will tell you). The setting is beautiful and the views of the hills and the Mediterranean will leave you breathless. Fascinating old houses and great restaurants too - and we saw no tourists (in July!). Not be be missed if you are in the neighborhood.

Non andateci apposta. Il borgo è carino ma, se non ci fosse di mezzo la questione del principato che accende la curiosità del visitatore, a ben pochi turisti verrebbe in mente di salire fin qua… E invece, arrivano pullman carichi di… Ben più meritevoli e autentiche alcune località vicine, a cominciare da Perinaldo.Insomma, a parte la vista sulla costa, non offre granché… a meno che uno non prenda scarponi e zaino e cominci a esplorare i dintorni.

première découverte de cette principauté petit village charmant ,ruelles étroites et pittoresques je n'ai pas eu le plaisir de rencontrer le prince (37 ans et beau garçon) une prochaine fois

La cosa che mi ha portato ad arrampicarmi sin a Seborga è stata la particolarità del principato, ed è una simpatica attrattiva turistica molto ben studiata, tutto il borgo sembra ornato come se fosse veramente un principato indipendente. La vista dal paese è notevole anche se il borgo di per sè non è bello quanto altri borghi della zona

Tipico borgo della riviera ligure di ponente posto nell'entroterra montuoso a ridosso della costaQuesto paese è tenuto particolarmante bene e si autoproclama principato indipendente, nella riviera vi sono altri borghi più belli, ma questo merita di essere visitato per la curiosità che suscita e per l'impegno che gli abitanti profondono nel tener vive le tradizioni e conservare il paeseMolto carino percorrere le strade vedere i palazzi, la piazza della zecca, il palazzo di Governo e la chiesa di San Martino

Älter als Italien, unabhängig seit 1000 Jahren, früher Templer-Staat, heute Fürstentum, eigene Währung (Luigino), eigene Kfz-Kennzeichen, eigene Briefmarken... und trotzdem ein nahezu unbekanntes Juwel , von dem aus man die Riviera und die gesamte Côte d'Azur überblickt. Zum Wandern, Moutainbiken und zum Entspannen der ideale Ort. Kleine B&B's , die zum Übernachten einladen. Eigentlich sollte man nicht so schwärmen, sonst bleibt es kein Geheimtipp.

Piccolo borgo ligure arroccato sui monti. Ci metti più tempo ad arrivare che visitarlo. Di particolare non ho trovato nulla, al di fuori della loro bandiera, garitta e del Luigino " moneta cognata sul posto ". Da vedere più per curiosità che per interesse.
