The climb up to view the Christo will take your breath away, particularly if your more accustomed to life on the prairies as we are. The winding road, that goes out over the side of the mountain, and the old village at the top are incredible. You have to ask yourself, who looked at the top of that mountain a thousand years ago and said....we need to build something way up there...lets start hauling the rocks! The old church, the grounds and the ancient infrastructure are all awe inspiring to experience.

We had a cloudy day so the view was obscured. The ride up the mountain was "interestin"

Salendo sul Monte S.Biagio, si gode tutto il panorama che da sul golfo di Policastro! dall'isola di Dino, Praia a mare sino Scario. la strada che salendo stretta ti fa apprezzare da subito la vetta con il Cristo. una volta arrivati ci si rende conto di quanto sia valsa la pena la strada fatta.

Salire sul monte San Biagio è una progressiva stupefacente visione di un paesaggio che trova il culmine dove la tua immaginazione non arriva.

До обзорной площадки Monte San Biagio можно добраться несколькими способами - все это не так важно, если вы сделаете эту поездку ровно перед закатом. Ничего красивее вы не найдете в этом чудесном городке, чем утопающие в облаках последние лучи солнца. Главное - не забывайте дышать.

La strada che si inerpica sulla cima del Monte dove si trova il Santuario non e' certo la piu' agevole che si possa percorrere ma comunque contribuisce ad arricchire le sensazioni che si ricavano da una simile passeggiata. Una volta in cima il suggestivo sentiero che conduce alla statua del Cristo ( che al contrario di quella di Rio volge le spalle al mare) e la vista mozzafiato sula Costa di Maratea e sul golfo di Policastro ripagano la tortuosita' della strada percorsa

Veramente suggestiva la statua del Redentore che domina su tutta la costa !!!! Salendo poi sul monte si lascia la macchina al parcheggio sottostante e pagando 4 euro la navetta accompagna fino alla cima del monte dove la vista del Cristo è veramente suggestiva. É secondo x grandezza solo al Cristo di RIO!!!! É alto 23metri con un 'apertura delle braccia di 19 metri. Il panorama poi che si gode é mozzafiato !!!!

Fantastica veduta. Luogo storico importante per la città di Maratea. Da visitare la Chiesa di San Biagio.

Se soffrite di vertigini non è il posto che fa x voi..... a parte tutte le curve da fare per arrivare fino in alto. ....lo spettacolo è davvero mozzafiato! Soprattutto verso l'imbrunire! Romantico!
