We've been here a few times and it's always lovely. The kids love running around (quietly of course, after all, this IS Germany!) and smelling the roses. They also love the play park with sand and digging, etc. There are endless roses, a nice lake, with swans, sometimes, etc. Sometimes they have special lantern shows at night. Staff wasn't super friendly. (Went 2007 and Aug. 2013)

Drove to Zweibrucken to visit these gardens. Worth a side trip from anywhere in the vicinity! We went in September so the gardens were not in full bloom. But what remained was so beautiful and interesting, I look forward to another visit some day.

A very large and beautiful rose garden with hundreds of different roses. Also many different types of flowers. The site is well maintained and very pleasant to walk through.

This garden is in the center of Zweibruecken. Beautiful location. The garden is separate from the hotel next door and should not be confused. This is just for the garden. Quaint to walk around. Lots of places to stop and rest and take in the scenery. Fountains. Play area for kids. Small shop to buy plants. There is a small cafe just inside the entrance. Over on the side is the larger restaurant that is part of the hotel. You can stay in the garden and still get food from the hotel. The flowers here are beautiful. Just amazi . So happy we stopped in. This is a 1-2 hour thing unless you spend time on a bench, play at the playground or have a meal/ice cream. Definitely recommend.

Well, it was the coldest may for years. And we were about the only visitors. We could imagine it was lovely in later summer but not today. I recommend looking through the hedge before you pay. And only pay if it is in bloom. Of course we are spoilt with gardens in England!

Beautiful location at the famous Zweibrücken Rose Garden; ideal for coffee and cake in the afternoon or dining at all times, especially for special occasions in one of the separate rooms. Staff is not always efficient and friendly though.

Nice and small park to walk around! It is a day trip to this location but do not came to early or too late since you will miss the wonderful show of diverse roses!!

Twice been offered a table at the entrance in the draught, lame and unwilling service, uninspiring cuisine. Obviously staff do not feel the need to provide any kind of incentive for guests to feel welcome or return to the place.
