The brick building in neo-Romanesque style was built to design of architects Carl Rüdell and Richard Odenthal. The Church consists of a hexagonal central building, a lean-to nave with two bays, a semicircular apse and a west tower. The Interior of the central building was in 1990 adapted to the hexagonal floor plan and has a hexagonal public altar on an increased hexagonal altar-island.
