Alzey ist in the center of the largest wine-growing region in Germany. You should insall yourself for some days in one of Alzeys nice Hotels and start to experience the flavor of the region in the nice little town of Alzey. Walk though the streets and admire the lovely old houses... go shopping in the stores or in the large shopping possibilities in "Industriegebiet". And then, go to explore tho lovely villages of Rheinhessen - you will feel good and never regret to see this lovely region.

We decided to pass by Alzey to see the town and the main attractions. It is not a "must", but if you have enough time, you should make a visit and see the city center and the church.

Market square and surrounding areas provide an interesting,traffic-free stroll, old buildings, Elizabethan style houses.Plenty of places for good home cooking, one or two reasonable restaurants and wine bars.Parking is plentiful.Enough to do to occupy a morning with lunch or an afternoon and evening meal.It is worth including as item when visiting the area but does not justify a special trip on its own merits

Wir waren auf Em,fehlung in Alzey im Gerry Jansen Theater.Bei Kartenbestellung warnte man uns man muesse sich totlachen.Es war sehr schoen und auch zum lachen. Das Stück Erbarme die Rentner komme.Vor dem Stück und waehrend der Pause gibt es Getraenke an der Foyerbar, Dankean Gerry Jansen fuer so ein Kleinod im Herzen von Alzey.Wir kommen wieder

Альцай - маленький городок в 70 км юго-западнее от Франкфурта. Город известен своими виноградниками, средневековой архитектурой и родиной певца Таркана. Мы побывали в Альцае в период Рождественских рынков, нам понравилось. В отличие от крупных городов, здесь даже под Рождество достаточно спокойно и уютно. Рекомендую

Alzey er en vinby midt i Rheinhessen. Koselig, med mange flotte gamle hus. Hvert år i september avholdes vinfest, med stort tivoli. Opptil 30 - 40 vinprodusenter fallbyr sine produkter. Ikke alle er av topp kvalitet, men noen kan anbefales: Arno Schröder, Espenhof, Meiser, Dr. Hinkel.

Da ich in Gruenstadt wohne und Alzey nicht allzu weit entfernt ist, in noerdlicher Richtung , zieht es micht trotzdem nicht dahin. Der Marktplatz mit Fussgaengerzone ist ganz schoen, aber es rentiert sich meiner Meinung nach , nicht extra hin zu fahren.

Wer unbedingt historisches über die Stadt Alzey erfahren möchte und viele Winkel und Gassen besuchen möchte die ihm sonst verborgen bleiben, der sollte sich unbedingt zu einer Nachtwächter Wanderung anmelden. Keine Angst das Wort Wanderung ist stark übertrieben es ist ein Rundgang durch Alzey. Mittelpunkt ist das Alzeyer Schloß, der Start üblicherweise am Museum durch ein paar Gässchen vorbei an historischen Gebäuden und endet meist gegen über des Stadtwein Gutes. zu allem kann der oder die Führerin auskunft geben und man hat anschließend das Gefühl , nein die Gewissheit , nun Alzey zu kennen. Sehr empfehlenswert Knut
