It was good to see that artfects and photographs of the former RAF Laarbruch, are available for people to view and learn about the past. Or in my case reminisce! The staff were knowledgeable and helpful and the models, photographs and exhibits were displayed well, with informative explanations.Don't visit Weeze without popping in to the museum, especially if you were one of the thousands of servicemen who served at RAF Laarbruch (or RAFG in general) it is a MUST !!!

It is a small museum for aviation enthusiasts looks nice. There is a history behind the scenes and has to do with the recent history of European Aviation.

Situated in the former church next to the Globe Cinema.Well worth a visit, some really interesting artefacts on display. The museum staff were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and friendly. The museum reflects the role of RAF Laabruch, and also the close ties they had with the local Germany community.

We popped in here as I used to live in Weeze and my dad was stationed at RAF Laarbruch. It was nice to see so many exhibits in this place, and the station map was invaluable in finding a couple of places I wanted to see. The place was quite small, but it was well done and they had information in English and German. I think it was only €2 to get in. I enjoyed browsing what the museum had to offer and even found an article about my sister in an old copy of the Laarbruch Listener. If you're in Weeze I think it is worth a look.

Very informative and friendly staff who have put a great deal into this venture. Gave us all the info on how the Base has changed over the years since we were there serving as MT Drivers in the RAF Regiment way back in 1956/57. I think that they were very pleased with our contribution of our '50's photos. keep up the good work. Great stuff brings a lump to your throat! 1956/57 ROD & KEN

I visited the museum which is on the site of what once was RAF Laarbruch where I was stationed during the 70s. A lot of time and effort has been put into the museum and it was a great trip down memory lane. Its a great place to visit especially if you were ever stationed at Laarbruch, but even if you weren't It would still be of interest.Well done to everyone who has helped put the museum together and a big thankyou to the lady who was on duty the day we visited and to Al, for guiding us around Laarbruch aboard the tractor Limo, (see my review of "Kevins Pub" in Weeze for more details) Unfortunatly, but not surprisingly there was no mention of "10 Field Squadron Royal Engineers", who were an integral part of the set up when Laarbruch was operational, but one of our number kindly donated a couple of pieces of memorabilia, so as to make our presence felt once again!

The Museum brought back some wonderful memories of RAF Laarbruch, as it was. Although small and compact the detail and memorabilia is immense. The staff (volunteers) were friendly and welcoming and do the Station proud in keeping the memory alive. Well worth the visit!
