My wife grew up about 20 minutes from here,so we decided along with here brother after 30 years to take a visit to the brewery. Nice bus tour through the plant and good historic story on how it ended up there,but lets get real,9 euros for tour and at the end you get 2 hours in the tasting room. Yep you can taste all there drinks,there was one thing missing though,I have been on several brewery tours and this one was lacking the smell of malt and yeast ? Maybe they were cleaning that day or something,but it was for sure smell-less. Anyway it was still good to go.

Warstein is twinned with where I live which was one of the reasons to visit...this is the other.It's amazing o see the scale of the operation, although we did the last tour of the day on a Friday and the machines were all switched off. It would have been nice to see these things in action.At the end of the tour you get 2 hours to sample as much as you can...we tried the various Radlers (Shandy) and the classic brew. The gift shop has some great items and if you want to make sure you can roll into bed then stay at the hotel on site. Great value and lovely hotel.All this is for a bargain price!

To be honest it was my 5th time at the Warsteiner brewery. My first visit was 10 years ago and it is very interesting to see how much has changed. And quite frankly the changes are all positive. This time i had visitors from US and of course i decided to take them to the brewery. I would strongly recommend to book the tour online. I made reservations for Thursday which is the best day to visit in summer :-). You pay 12€ instead of 9€ but in addition you get potato-sausage soup and a beer mug. But first things first. We arrived at the brewery and i asked at the reception if there was any chance to somehow translate everything into English. The nice and attentive lady promptly produced the audio guide which was quite handy. Then we saw a mutimedia movie about beer and brewing process and took a tour thru the brewery itself. Afterwards the fun began :-). You could drink as much beer as you wanted up to 2 hours after the tour (and non-alcoholic drinks of course). And there was the soup. So all in all we spent amazing 4 hours there, had lots of fun and lots of beer. If you are in the area make sure you do stop by ;-)!!! My friends were impressed and said next time they are visiting they'll ask me to take them there again. And i'll be more than happy to :-)

... if you wouldn't go there!Very informative, excellent 360 degree show, nice drinks afterwards = worth every cent you pay for it (9€).Be sure that your visit is before 12am on a Friday and not over the weekend ... if you want to watch the production life!

We booked a tour through internet and it was just perfect! On time, with 2 drinks included, with a dutch audio guide, and it took about 2 hours! Wonderful

Die Warsteiner Welt ist wohl das Beste vom Besten was eine Brauerei bieten kann!Essen, trinken, feiern und auch noch ein Kino dabei mit Top Filmen!Brauereibesichtigung, Reitsport Events, Camping Platz und im September Montgolfiade, Alles an der Warteiner Welt! Das Alles verdanken wir ALBERT CRAMER!

Viel zu sagen gibt es nicht. Mit der Bimmelbahn durch das Gelände gefahren werden, keine Möglichkeit, die Brauerei auch mal "zu riechen" und " zu fühlen". Kommentare nur vom Band gesprochen. Alles im allem unpersönlich.Die Verkostung ist natürlich Geschmackssache, aber als wir zuerst das neue Weihnachtsbier bekamen, waren wir froh gleich bei der Toilette zu sitzen, da konnten wir es schnell entsorgen. Auch das frisch gezapfte Warsteiner schmeckte wie gepanschtes Schützenfestbier. Die dreifache Filterung des Bieres scheint auch jeglichen Geschmack herauszufiltern.... aber wie gesagt, Geschmäcker sind verschieden, vielleicht bin ich zu verwöhnt.

Unsere Warsteiner Welten wirken sehr steril auf uns als Besucher, mit der Erfüllung der auf der Homepage enthaltenen Versprechungen hat sie eher Mühe. Da steht, dass die erste Führung am Morgen um 10:00 Uhr beginnt. Bei unserem Besuch fand sie um 11:00 Uhr statt. Es steht auch, dass man bis 2 Stunden nach dem Besuch der Führung gratis Bier trinken kann. Wir erhielten Gutscheine für 2 Getränke aus dem eigenen Sortiment. Die Werksbesichtigung findet in einem klimatisierten, voll verglasten Bus mit Anhänger statt. Brauchbare Fotos sind wegen den Scheiben nicht machbar. Es riecht auch nicht nach Brauerei. Ob dies aufgrund der modernen Produktion oder wegen der Klimaanlage im Bus so ist konnte ich nicht in Erfahrung bringen. Ich hätte mir genau so gut einen Bericht über die Brauerei im Fernsehen anschauen können. Ein wirklich nachhaltiges Erlebnis war das nicht.

Insgesamt eine informative und beeindruckende Tour durch die Produktion. Zugleich sehr bequem, da man mit einem Zug durch die gesamte Brauerei gefahren wird. Dies ist aus meiner Sicht jedoch zugleich der größte Nachteil. Die Wagen sind verglast und man kann leider während der Vorführung nicht aussteigen, etwa um mal ein paar schöne Fotos zu machen. Die Show vor der Führung und die Verkostung danach sind jedoch sicherlich echte Highlights!
